This week visited Norm Reeves Honda in Cerritos to for a service matter. After I met with service adviser Leo and on my way out I met Chandika De Silva. while chatting with him I just mention I planning to service matter. This was the worst car buying experience we have ever had. It took us 5 hours to finally get everything finalized. Chandika showed us cars and took us on a test drive. We left and specifically went ba had. It took us 5 hours to finally get everything finalized. Chandika showed us cars and took us on a test drive. We left and specifically went back to Norm Reeves the next week, because the service from him was so great. That was a mistake. He handed us off to another sales rep and it went downhill from there. They had us sit with AJ Jinadasa, a VIP Manager according to his card, and we negotiated a price for the car. There was a lot of going back and forth before we arrived at a price. He asked about a down payment and we stated that we had a possible trade in, depending on the price he could give us. They went and looked at the car and he came back and said he would give us $3500 for it, and wrote it down on a sheet of paper. We told him that was too low, that we had a car max quote for $4200. He then countered and said that he could go to $4000. We agreed. I made the mistake of not having him write it down. I pulled out a coupon from your website giving the user an extra $500 on top of the best negotiated price. AJ said ok, I'll give you $4000 then. I said that he needed to give us $4500 based on what we had originally agreed upon and what the coupon said. He was laughing at us and being very disrespectful and rude, while lying about not promising us the $4000. He said he didn't write down the number, so it didn't happen. We got up to walk out and then he stopped us and said that he would give us the $4500 if we made the deal. We had been there for three hours and didn't want to start all the way over somewhere else so we stayed, even though I did not want to give him our business. AJ was so rude and argumentative. Mocking and laughing at us over the price, saying it's only $500. That's a lot of money. I don't think I have ever been that disrespected in any type of purchase that I have done. I will never purchase a car through your dealer again, and I will absolutely never recommend it to anyone else. If I could rate it negative stars I would. More
