An afternoon with Mark I was car shopping all over the internet, looking for a used SUV to have as a second car, I wasn’t interested in what kind of vehicle just the price. I was car shopping all over the internet, looking for a used SUV to have as a second car, I wasn’t interested in what kind of vehicle just the price. Then I thought maybe we could lease a new car as we wanted one for up north and one for here. we had thoughts of getting another KIA Sedona but when the figures came back to lease were way past our budget, we moved on. I inquired about a lease at Jenkins Hyundai, where I saw several adds with a lease figure of 248, 249 a month. Then I received a text from a Mark. I text back asking all kinds of questions regarding leasing a car. Mark answered my question but also said come on in to the store as they had a Black Friday deal going. So, on November 29th my wife and I went to Jenkins Hyundai to discuss face to face with Mark our concerns about leasing or purchasing. Mark took the care to introduce himself and graciously asked if we wanted any refreshment while he collected our information necessary to lease or purchase a car. Once the info was given the sales manager, Mark came back and we got into a discussion about leasing or purchasing a car. He asked our preferences, our budget and other related question related to buying or leasing a car. We had in mind to get a second vehicle. After some discussion Mark went to get us a Santa Fe to test drive. While he was gone, Mr. McKay came out and introduced himself and asked a few more questions. While waiting we were able to look at a Santa Fe on the showroom floor and decide we really like the Santa Fe. Mark came up with the car and drove us off the lot for our test drive. As I took over the controls mark went through many of the features before I drove it. As I drove the car around, he answered any question we had regarding the car. He was very pleasant and not pushy, he just let us drive the car and answered questions. Once we got back to the dealer ship, Mark, asked if we liked the car, what we disliked and other typical question related to a purchase. I told him I did not like the car and stated I wanted the car we looked at on the floor. Mark then went to work to find us a different trim level that would meets our expectations. Once he found the car, we discovered we could not swing it on our budget, so Mark and Mr. McKay asked us if we wanted to trade in our 2012 KIA Sedona and they would get it into our budget. We decided to trade and Mark and Andy went to work getting the pricing where we wanted to be. We became the owners of a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe named Blitzen. However, that wasn’t the end as Mark got the car over to deal tailing, got us to finance, got us some bags, changed the plate and helped clean out the old car and place the stuff into the new car. Then on top of all that he told me do not hesitate to text, Call or email any concerns or question I might have, which I took advantage of. All in all, we were very pleased with Mr. Shelley as he dedicated himself to us for our purchase. I would highly recommend Mark Shelley to anyone who wanted to buy at your dealership. In summary: We appreciate all that Mr. Shelley; Mark did to make our day enjoyable. He was not pushy and allowed us to make our choices as we seemed fit. It was a long day but it was worth it at the end. Again, for you for your personal assist in getting into the beautiful Santa Fe. Barbara and Robert Strickland More
