My career has been exclusively here at Jennings Chevrolet & VW since 1989. Growing up in Wilmette and living now in Wheeling IL, I am married with 2 children and have a horse, dogs, cats, & fish. I enjoy traveling when I can and am working on visiting all 50 states. I am a National Sigma Nu Fraternity Member and Eagle Scout for life. My goal is to give all my customers the best deal possible making it a very enjoyable experience. As most of my clients are repeat and referred customers, I hold their loyalty in very high regard.

Great Sales and service experiences I just purchased my 6th car from Jennings (87 Nova, 93 and 2000 Prisms, 2004, 2012, and 2020 Malibus. I have purchased three cars from Chris Hallenber I just purchased my 6th car from Jennings (87 Nova, 93 and 2000 Prisms, 2004, 2012, and 2020 Malibus. I have purchased three cars from Chris Hallenberg who provides above and beyond customer service. Chris made the last purchase very easy by having tall the papaerwork prepared andready for me to complete which streamlined the process. Mark Jarosz made the finance end smooth and easy and answered all of my questions and concerns. Rehan Alimomohammed is always proactive in making sure my vehicle is running and identifying any services issues to fix them before they become problem. Sometimes when some service issues come up Rehan is alway there to find the problem and resolve it in a timely manner. Mark Rolla and Rick Straczek are always available and very helpful when problems arise. They both take the time to educate me on specific service issues that I may not be aware of. Andy Sweis who sold me my second car at Jennings a 2000 Prism has provided me with above and beyond customer serviice. If I have a rare problem or issue at Jennings Andy will get involved and help resolve the issue. More

Clean, Friendly, Honest, Caring We just bought our third card from Jennings. Two in one year! They know us by name and ask about who we are, we are not just a number to them. There was a maintenance person who waved and said thank you to me as I left the dealership! They don't let you leave unless you completely understand and are comfortable with the car. The sales people are not pushy, they know their business and will steer you in the right direction. The service level when you bring your car in for maintenance is amazing! They go over everything with a fine tooth comb and they are quick too! Cannot say enough great things about this dealership! More

I usually would hang up on these type of "fishing" calls but, I was comfortable right away speaking with the salesman on the other line, I gave him my info and set up a date. Two days later, I meet Chris, and he was as honest and confident in person. I drove off in my new SUV hours later. I am so happy I left Nissan and joined the Chevy family, knowing I have a friend I trust for the future. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! More

Purchasing Our First Car This is the first time my fiancé and I have purchased a vehicle, and Chris was so great to deal with! He was kind, patient and very knowledgeable. Alain introduced me to Chris Hallenberg in sales and Mark Jarosz in financing who handled everything forward. Chris was knowledgable in terms of the product and Mark, creative when it came to financing. Together, they answered every question and I drove away with the vehicle of my choice after a very quick and painless process. Great service and great staff Chris Hallenberg was very helpful in assisting my husband and I with leasing a new Traverse. We walked into the dealership curious about the Tahoe, as we need a 3 row vehicle. Chris pointed us to the new Traverse and we fell in love with it. It was exactly what we were looking for. He is a friendly and helpful guy, who didn't pressure us in any way. He was able to get us exactly what we wanted for what we wanted to pay. I also went back a couple weeks later to get a TV/DVD player installed and everyone in the service department was extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone, from the Service Manager, to the person who helps with rentals, to the cashier. Everyone was great and made the process painless. Not to mention the service took less than half the time they said it would. I would definitely go back to Jennings for another car and any future service. More
