My career has been exclusively here at Jennings Chevrolet & VW since 1989. Growing up in Wilmette and living now in Wheeling IL, I am married with 2 children and have a horse, dogs, cats, & fish. I enjoy traveling when I can and am working on visiting all 50 states. I am a National Sigma Nu Fraternity Member and Eagle Scout for life. My goal is to give all my customers the best deal possible making it a very enjoyable experience. As most of my clients are repeat and referred customers, I hold their loyalty in very high regard.

We keep coming back! All of my family visits to Jennings Chevrolet are as pleasant as can be. Jennings Chevrolet has the nicest staff of any dealership I have ever visited All of my family visits to Jennings Chevrolet are as pleasant as can be. Jennings Chevrolet has the nicest staff of any dealership I have ever visited. They offer free restaurant quality bagels and creamcheese to thier guests in the morning, and popcorn and coffee through out the day to help their customers feel more at home. Our car dealer Chris Hallenberg is one of the most caring and understanding car dealers my family has ever had the pleasure to work with. He goes above and beyond to ensure a smooth and painless car buying experience. Infact, all of my family's cars ha e been purchased or leased from Mr. Hallenberg since 2005. I would highly recommend Jennings Chevrolet and our auto dealer Chris Hallenberg to any individual looking for an incredible car buying experiance. More

loving my new Camaro Normally I don't waste my time with testimonials or reviews even though I know they're important, but on this Car that I bought at this time in my l Normally I don't waste my time with testimonials or reviews even though I know they're important, but on this Car that I bought at this time in my life has special meaning and the situation worked out in a very Special twist and it may be a little long-winded but it's worth listening to if someone really wants to get the car of their dreams . I am a service man in the HVAC world and I've been at it with one company 31 years so basically I live in my service truck. So at this time in my life I decided that I wanted a nice vehicle for my off-duty work hours as it has been a few years since I had an actual car . It so happens to be in my younger years I had very nice classic cars that were bought and sold at places like the Volo auto museum and Chicago car exchange and many other specialty automotive classic car places . Always being a GM man in my heart I decided to go to a dealership where a few years back I went to Jennings and upon recommendation helped me out with their great body shop to fix up a mess that another dealership did not take care of. I was highly disappointed in the other dealership and my dissappointment was corrected by Jennings Chevrolet of Glenview . So of course I had a little extra time during my workday in between a couple service calls and I decided to stop in at Jennings just to set up an appointment to do some serious talking about purchasing a new vehicle and at that point I went in and met Mr. Chris Hallenberg Who told me come back as soon as I have a few minutes and he would be there through the evening and that's where the magical experience happened! So of course after my final HVAC service call of the day I headed back to Jennings where Chris Hallenberg was there and I must admit was very unsure and nervous as it's been along time since I bought a new car. In the past unfortunately I had some not so pleasant memories during car buying experiences . So from the get go I told Chris I wasn't 100% sure of exactly what I wanted but I wanted something special for this time of my life and what I have to say that stood out in this situation I was actually helped to figure out what I really wanted so we looked at a lot of different cars from brand-new to very low mile used cars and that part of it went on for almost 2 1/2 hours and I have to say during the whole time Chris wanted me to make up my own mind and gave me all the breathing room in the world to think about making this very serious decision which lasted about four hours later I found the best car deal that I absolutely ever had in my life and by the way I went with a new car! That car was a 2015 Camaro RS completely brand-new not even a demo model with 41 miles on it . This particular Camaro had every option you could get with an RS Camaro package and it was everything I could've possibly wanted and plenty more to boot . The Best part of the deal was that I saved literally $9000 off the top to start with because it was a 2015, but being brand-new I got all the warrantees and thrills that go with the new car because it is still is a brand-new car even though it's 2017 and I was inadvertently looking at different cars when Chris and I bumped into this one in the showroom while looking at another car. Thus I immediately asked Chris about this car that grabbed me but I believed it would probably be out of my price range.I asked Chris anyway what are the details on this car and then he explained and from there it was my best brand-new car buying experience I ever had hands-down . And like I mentioned earlier being a classic car guy in my earlier years a nice twist happened to this as I spent much less money than I expected literally. Of course in the end we all know that dreaded meeting with the F&I man so at this point I was a little nervous as usually we all know The finance managers are always the toughest part of the deal but let me tell you this guy actually was tougher than all of them , but it also was in my favor Bob really convinced me of the necessary extras and also the things I didn't really need and in the end I bought all the packages and I'm very confident about everything I bought and when I say he was tough.He was tough on me by making sure I understood exactly what I was purchasing before I signed anything and usually it is the other way around and I'd be confused about what I just sign for months later not this time though ! As far as the accessories I purchased they gave me a great break and Ray in the service department was one of the most tentative and caring service managers I ever dealt with at A dealership and they gave me a bunch of breaks and pricing besides . The best part is I am absolutely crazy in love with my new Camaro. Visit this great dealership and ask for Chris You can shop around other dealerships but why waste your time, you will find no better service and value at Jennings. Customer Service In business I bought several cars every year or every two years depending on circumstances. I despised buying cars. When a buddy of mine opened a Chev In business I bought several cars every year or every two years depending on circumstances. I despised buying cars. When a buddy of mine opened a Chevy dealership in Wisconsin I drove my car there, 90 miles, for service to avoid going into a local car dealer and enduring very poor service and bad attitudes. After a number of years my pal closed his dealership for other endeavors. A friend of my wife's said her Dad went to Jennings for some body work and was quite pleased. I needed a bit of body work and went there. I was shocked and how nice they were, the fine body work they did and the follow up to make sure I was satisfied. So I started servicing both our cars there and time after time it was the same happy ending. My service person, Dave Grandquist is a champ. If Dave tells me I need something done on the car I do it, without question. I have total trust in him. The service manager, Mark Rolla is class A and when he promises something it's written in stone. One time when Dave and Mark were off I had a question on something that was done and I went to the boss, Jim Jennings. He acted like he had known me forever. He took care of the matter in the blink of an eye. I thanked him several times I was so impressed. Steve in the body shop did work on both our cars and he kept his word on what he would do and made sure we were satisfied with the jobs. Jim Walsh the general manager actually came out to speak to my wife and I when we brought our young Labrador pup with us to drop a car off and Jim was as kind and nice as he could be. I have bought a lot of cars in my life and I have been at many dealerships where I felt I had to hold onto my wallet with both hands, but not at Jennings. Most of the time I will wait for my car to be serviced and they have complimentary coffee and a bagel, a quiet room to read in, an open area to watch TV, a play room for children and a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. My salesman, Chris told me the truth, made great recommendations according to my needs and I got one heck of a nice vehicle because of him. The ladies, Dora Jasmine and Che who take your hard earned money and respond to phone calls are just as sweet as pie. They are courteous and helpful. I highly recommend Jennings Chevy to anyone for a new or a used car sold and serviced by people you can trust. More

If there is ever a problem with a vehicle, the service department has always been fair and reasonable in addressing the situation. I always feel like they are doing their best to get me a good deal and being attentive without being pushy. This is a well run company with good people throughout and you can shop for a vehicle there with confidence. More
