They don't do what they say they will On October 10th, I test drove a certified, pre-owned 2017 Nissan Murano. Chris Tate was my sales rep. I enjoyed him. At the end of the test drive, On October 10th, I test drove a certified, pre-owned 2017 Nissan Murano. Chris Tate was my sales rep. I enjoyed him. At the end of the test drive, I discovered a very long "key-like" scratch on the front quarter-panel and about 1/2 the driver's side door. Chris checked with his people and told me, "no problem, we'll fix that". He went to the main lot, returned to the pre-owned lot with a body shop form for me to authorize work which we decided would be done the next day. So I went through with purchasing the vehicle that evening. I even took the extended, bumper to bumper 100,000 mile warranty for an extra few thousand. So I more than upheld my end of the agreement. The next day when I went to pick up the Murano, I was told that they touched it up with paint. While the scratch was still terribly noticeable, Chris told me that was the "best they could do". Upon returning home and having a few days to contemplate it, I got more and more upset. My wife, whom I purchased the car for, was also not pleased. Now, here comes the fun part... I received a nice email from a lady named Mary a week later on October 17th. Mary's title on the email was Customer Relations Manager. She was "checking in with me to see how I enjoyed my experience". I sent her a detailed reply stating how unsatisfied I was with the outcome of the issue with the scratch. And then another. Over a week later, I have not received a reply - either via email or phone conversation. I believe that for fear of litigation, Mary - who is a MANAGER - was probably told not to respond to me. As such, I informed Mary that I simply could not recommend Youngblood Nissan to any of my friends, family or colleagues and that I would have to give an overall poor rating to my experience. I'm now using this forum to do just that, for future customers to read about my experience. I prefer to do business with those that do what they say they will do for their customers. Anyone reading this knows, a car is a MAJOR purchase and decision. Hopefully my review will help them choose wisely and not let what happened to me, happen to them. More
