Inexperienced sales person with obvious lack of training who didn't know the features of the vehicle he was selling. Type of driven train being the most notable gap in his knowledge. During the entire sales process he had me convinced I was buying an all wheel drive car. Only at the end did realize (on my own) that this car was in fact not an all wheel drive car. Even when I realized that this car was a front wheel drive car, because on the screen of the sales person I could see "FWD", the sales person insisted that "FWD" meant "four wheel drive". I had to push him to go confirm that his car was front wheel drive. The "manager" above him was very arrogant and showed obvious signs of displease every time I would not agree to something during the negotiation process (for example, the amount they wanted to give me for my trade-in vehicle). In one of the instances he was not happy about me pushing for a better purchase price, he stood up and tried to shake my hand while saying "I'm sorry we can't meet your needs" , basically trying to kick me out of there because he was not happy that I wasn't agreeing to his terms. Very unpleasant and unprofessional. In the end nothing was offered to me to compensate for the fact that I was about to drive away a car convinced that it was an all wheel drive car, had I not realized on my own that it wasn't. In fact, they tried to convince me that I was gonna be just fine driving in the snow given that the car has an "snow mode" and the manager insisted that he had driven on the snow on his front wheel drive car without a problem. I appreciate the anecdotal information they offered, except I was there to buy an all wheel drive car from the beginning and the fact that someone drove a front wheel drive in snow successfully once, is no guarantee. One extra free oil change is all I got out of their big mistake. Very displeased with the entire buying experience. I was a lengthy unpleasant process filled with misinformation and contradictory information being provided to me coming from the sales person and the manager. They also tried to push financing on me multiple times despite the fact I was very clear this was likely going to be a cash transaction. Their on-site inventory does not reflect what their website shows. I have not taken my car for service yet, we will see if their service department is any better than their sales one. The only person that knew how to do his job properly and was pleasant to work with was the finance guy, who takes the money for the car. More
