I had badly broken my leg in August and needed a second surgery in the beginning of November, so needless to say I was not mobile and was unable to travel. I called several local dealers here on Long Island and they were really not interested in doing a deal with me over the phone. Then I contacted Rockland Jeep and my salesman Chris Gunst went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me. He helped me find the truck I was looking for and even had leather installed for me to make it perfect. His communication was excellent and he kept me fully informed through out the whole process by phone and text. He arranged everything from the purchase, registration, insurance, all the way to delivery of the vehicle. My transaction could not have gone any smoother and was better than the last 3 Jeep/Dodge leases I have had. I got an excellent vehicle at a fair price with no gimmicks, issues, or added fees. Chris even went as far as to contact me on Christmas to ask if my wife was surprised by her new Jeep. I would definitely do business with him again and appreciate all his help! More

Complete sleazy sales men. Constantly switching representatives during the deal process. Tried to commit notary fraud by having an office manager notorized documents without being present at the deal. Complete disregard of fraud practices. The sales manager was an intolerable presence during our deal. The finance manager had no problem commiting notary fraud right in front of us during our financing. More

From the second I walked in to the moment I got in my new car, my sales rep Chris Gunst was accommodating, helpful, and transparent. The entire staff there (especially Chris Trois, both Mikes, Jason) worked quickly to get me into the Jeep I loved in only 2 days despite a few hurdles. They made the process seamless and simple, and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a car. Great experience all around! More

Returned for a second car I previously purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership about 4 years ago. After going to 5 other dealerships in NJ and being either ignore I previously purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership about 4 years ago. After going to 5 other dealerships in NJ and being either ignored or treated poorly, I moved on to NY. It was the only dealership that treated me with respect. I worked with Chris and told him what kind of features I was looking for and he helped me find the perfect car. Fast forward to today, I was unfortunately in an accident which resulted in totaling my car. I returned to this dealership and worked with Chris once again to look for another Jeep Grand Cherokee. He provided me with various options, both CPO and new, with the same features my previous car had. He answered all my questions whether he was in the office or not and eventually I purchased a new Jeep Grand Cherokee. What I love most about working with Chris is that he is respectful, knowledgeable, and understanding of my situation. He worked with me every step of the way, provided all information I needed, and made a deal that worked best for me in regards to what I was able to afford. I was also happily surprised that he remembered me years later! I also worked with Mike Laporta in finance for paying/ adding warranties. He helped me get a refund on my previously purchased warranty for my old car and gave me information about adding it onto my new car. He returned my calls rather quickly and also answered any questions I had. Overall, Chris is a fantastic salesman who I would highly recommend speaking to if you are looking to purchase a car in the future. More
