The service department paid the most careful attention to an ongoing problem with what seemed to be the malfunctioning of one indicator light in the electronic system. That one light could have been ignored an ongoing problem with what seemed to be the malfunctioning of one indicator light in the electronic system. That one light could have been ignored as unimportant. Instead, Grayson had the patience to listen to the complicated history and to take it seriously. He made sure that the service department put the car through the highest level of diagnositic examination. The service department devoted 6 days to successfully solving that one seemingly small problem. The length of time that the car was there was so they could check that the repair was successful since the problem for which it was in service had happened sporadically, not every time the car was used. They wanted to make sure that the repair was not a temporary one that could reappear again sporadically. In doing all tlhat they did, they restored my confidence in the electronic system and the overall functioning of the car. One could not ask for any better service. At my advanced age I have had a lot of cars and a lot of experience with service departments of auto dealerships. But never one that I have respected as much as that of Safford Brown. More

Meredith was very helpful in taking care of my needs like having a loader car and having the car done when I was able to pick it up. I was totally dismayed that Stafford Brown now charges a surcharge on credit card payments. SB is not shy on it’s pricing. The surcharge is an insult to customers and will make me rethink taking my Outbac surcharge on credit card payments. SB is not shy on it’s pricing. We purchased a new 2012 Subaru Outback and had all service done there until the year 36,000 expired. Service price for routine maintenance was reasonable and the loaner cars were nice. We started us service done there until the year 36,000 expired. Service price for routine maintenance was reasonable and the loaner cars were nice. We started using a local mechanic until we experienced transmission problems at about 65,000. I called Browns Subaru and was informed that the transmission warranty had been extended to 100,000 miles. They fixed the transmission at no cost to us. The car now has over 150,000 with no major issues. We will probably go back when we do is to get another Subaru. More
