On October 12th we drove from our home at the coast to
have our vehicle that we purchased from Beaverton Mercedes serviced,arrived 50mins.early ask that the oil from the pan be drained for for 30 min.or a

Came over (didn't look to happy with the mess. never tried to drain the pan oil any more!he proceeded to try to find oil filter was trying to remove skid plate which does not need removal because it is hinged up front while trying to remove it the by pulling and pushing on the plate I was afraid of witnessing our vehicle falling off of the hoist,at this time supervisor came over STOPPED him showed what to do! A service writer came over to where I was watching at which time
I told him how uncomfortable this tech. looked,he said he's one our best,I said that's not good,he said sorry it's taking so long the tech. is trying to reset the maintenance light,I told him to have the tech. stop and that I will take care of that with that said we headed back to the coast via McMinnville for my wife's eye appointment. While I waited for her a service writer from Beaverton Mercedes called asked me where we are and can you come back to Beaverton I said why and he said that the tech. that worked on our vehicle had found a part in his pocket that went to our vehicle, THE OIL DRAIN PLUG FOR THE OIL FILTER!!!, I said hold on while I look under the vehicle, came back to the phone VERY MAD
told him that there's a lake of oil under our vehicle, he once again said can you come back to Beaverton, I replied xxxx NO! At the ve
ry least it needs to go to McMinnville Toyota
At which time he got authorization from Beaverton Mercedes service manager to another complete engine oil service and clean up the mess made,Thank GOD we had to stop in McMinnville or our 23000 mi. Engine would surely had looked up ruined somewhere on the road back home to the coast
We have filled out the cancelation request of our lifetime oil change policy and requested full refund due to this would have been only
Our second oil change of the policy and I surely would not count this os a successful
Service! We feel a full refund of the policy is the minimum we should be expecting especially the fact my wife feared that I was lucky that I didn't have a heart attack from all the stress, I can't emphasize enough how nice and consoling McMinnville Toyota was in trying to calm me down and working overtime
To get us on our way!

When the oil filter DRAIN plug is left out and the customer is sent off for there trip back home to the beach,does not make for a pleasant experience!!!!
