Brought my truck in for the recall that was issued for the 2021- 2024 Silverados with the 6.2L motors. After a few hours after dropping it off, I received a call from a representative that informed me tha the 2021- 2024 Silverados with the 6.2L motors. After a few hours after dropping it off, I received a call from a representative that informed me that my vehicle was not part of the recall because of the VIN although it’s a 2021 Silverado with a 6.2L motor. The representative said I can come pick it up. When I returned to the dealership, I told the cashier that I was here to pick up my truck because the truck was fine and not part of the recall. The cashier told me that my truck is not good and that there is no remedy to fix the recalled issue. She also stated that, I would have to return at a later date to have the truck repaired. So now I’m confused! What is it? I was told that the truck was not part of the recall by one person and another is telling me the complete opposite. More

I brought my suburban in about three weeks prior to this visit. Nobody really looked at it and told me there was nothing wrong with it. Three weeks later, my transmission went out. When I brought it in the visit. Nobody really looked at it and told me there was nothing wrong with it. Three weeks later, my transmission went out. When I brought it in the second time, they told me they would see when they could get to it. I called the service manager, and let him know what I have been through. After that, they finally looked at the suburban and told me the transmission was bad. I had to pay a towing charge from the North Shore to get it back to the dealer. It would have been nice if when I brought it in somebody would have actually diagnosed the transmission problem Before it left me stranded. Once they started replacing the transmission I got it back in about five days. I also had to rent a car so I had transportation. More
