Born in Tel Aviv, Israel he came to the United States at the age of 4. Dan grew up in the world of theater where his mother, the acclaimed Broadway actress, Mary Soreau and his father, a successful producer, taught him that although discipline and dedication to craft are keys to success that training and fun are indispensable to motivating a sales team to achieving its full potential. Dan relocated to Ocean County from New York in 1986. A graduate of Jackson Memorial High, he attended Berkeley College where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Management. Overall, the experience that I had with the purchase of my ceritified, pre-owned Chevy Cruze was exceptional. Carter Nies was thoroughly familiar with the Pine Belt inventory and was able to soon home in o my ceritified, pre-owned Chevy Cruze was exceptional. Carter Nies was thoroughly familiar with the Pine Belt inventory and was able to soon home in on a car that would satisfy my needs. This whole process was unrushed and was most comfortable for me. Carter had a excellent knowledge of the vehicles that he showed me and was able to clearly explain the features and functions of the Chevy Cruze. After a few days I had an appointment with Carter to see the Service Department and I must say I was most impressed with the clean and orderly appearance of the shop and the professionalism of Don Piana- Shop Foreman, David Winand- Team Leader and Joe- who I believe was a Greeter. Carter has since made two follow-up calls: the first was a voice mail answering a question and the second was to ask how I was doing with the Cruze and if I had any other questions about the car. I will certainly recommend the Lakewood Pine Belt Dealership and suggest that he or she ask specifically for Carter Nies... based on my experience of his knowledge, style of salesmanship, and sincere interest in providing the best service possible to me, his customer. More

I have bought over 40 vehicles in my lifetime. Dealing with my salesperson (Carter Nies) was by far the best buying expierience I have ever had! My wife and I were reccomended to Carter by our close famil with my salesperson (Carter Nies) was by far the best buying expierience I have ever had! My wife and I were reccomended to Carter by our close family friends who have been buying cars from Mr. Carter Nies for the last 10+ years. When we arrived he had the vehicle we were interested in parked out front. It was already detailed and ready to go. He took us on an extended test drive and even allowed me to take it on the GS Parkway so that I could assure myself it had the get up and go, that my old car had. We then brought it to my home and he helped me move several large appliances, and my workbench around so that it would fit in my garage! He was extremely patient, and didn't pressure us one bit. He was very eager to serve our needs, and bent over backwards to make the transaction a pleasurable one! Carter knew the correct answers to all my technical questions. As a retired chemical engineer by habbit I always study the specifications on the vehicle I plan to be purchasing. Then I ask the salesperson who I'm dealing with to see if he or she knows what they are selling. This young man past my test! When he opened the hood and explained what every component was correctly, I knew I was dealing with a professional! Even though I bought a used car he treated me and my wife like we were buying a Rolls Royce! When it was time to negotiate I asked Carter for his best price. I felt he was honest and sincere with the price that he was given for me from his manager. The manager was a big handsome Irish fellow. He came out of what looked like a glass box and shook my hand. This was the first time ever that the "Man behind the door" manager of a dealership thanked me personally after I bought a car. After the negotiations and initial paperwork was completed,Carter took me across the street to service where I was introduced to Joe, David, and Kieth. They also were very courteous and seemed eager to serve. We then returned back to the dealership and I was introduced to Mr. Ray Robinson. Ray went over all the finance paperwork, and he offered me an extended warranty . After a short disscusion with my wife, we agreed that the additional warranty was a good choice. After signing our paperwork Carter went over our owners manual, and a delivery checklist, to ensure we knew how to operate our new car. He set up both of our cell phones on the Bluetooth, and even hooked up the Onstar for me! In closing I hope that anyone that is in the market for a car see's Carter. If he can make me happy I guarantee you will be too! More

I went to the Dealership not knowing what i was exactly looking for with a list full of used cars from the website that i wanted to see.. Coming over from Europe, we were impressed by the full on customer service and attention that was given by Jodi and John. Test drive the car and we got a deal. Then the great Charlie in the finance department who made every effort to get it financed with a good rate. Our overall experience was great. They were having a celebration for Chevy's 100th bday the day we purchased the car. The festivities were fun including complimentary hot dogs, drinks, apple pie and a celebration for Chevy's 100th bday the day we purchased the car. The festivities were fun including complimentary hot dogs, drinks, apple pie and a classic car show. The staff was very friendly. We have a 2 year old that was running around the showroom (which made shopping difficult). The staff showed us to a playroom were he was entertained and we could talk business. Kevin Webster was our salesman. He did a great job. He was honest and straight forward and worked with us to get a good price on our Traverse. So far, we are very happy with the car and would definitely go back to Pine Belt to buy another vehicle. More
