My car buying experience at Acura/Subaru of Bloomington went well. The sales staff were very helpful in assisting me to make the right choice, especially regarding the tech packages and safety features. I went well. The sales staff were very helpful in assisting me to make the right choice, especially regarding the tech packages and safety features. I ultimately left the dealership secure that I'd made the right choice which I owe in part to my salesperson. However, the finance guy who i signed loan papers and title over to was very cold, would not answer questions and came off rude when pressed on anything. I almost walked out because of him and that part still doesn't sit well with me. More

Pushy Finance For a sales perspective I dealt with Dana and he was awesome. Then came the finance...I had my own financing lined up with a great rate. The finance guy told me he didn't believe my bank and didn't know if he could except my check. I had to get my banker on the phone to make the purchase. After that he was very ride and continued to be pushy. He made sure to tell me GMC was not reliable when I didn't want an extended warranty. He came back and was very short with me to finalize the deal. If you purchase here I would never use their financing because of that experience. Not sure I will return to this dealer for another purchase again because of him. Again sales guy was great and friendly through the whole process. More

Refreshing Very pleasant team of folks working at Luther Acura and Subaru of Bloomington. I went in and explained what I was looking for and how much I wanted to Very pleasant team of folks working at Luther Acura and Subaru of Bloomington. I went in and explained what I was looking for and how much I wanted to spend and there was no push or pull from the sales team. I worked with Dana H and he kept the process simple without any pressure. He and Bryon from finance just laid out the facts and numbers pertaining to my request and allowed me to make my own decision. I had been to a dealer earlier that same day and despite showing up to look at a Subaru the salesman was quick to push me towards buying a brand new Toyota. Being that I have sales experience I quickly recognize slimy sales tactics long before the punch line. This is typically what you get from dealers whether being a small time dealership or one of the bigs. What I can say in all honesty is that I will continue buying Subaru’s or Acura’s from this dealership so long as they keep up the friendly and helpful atmosphere, and that’s coming from a long time Chevy guy. More

Talked over me when I tried to tell my reasons why it wasn’t right for me (I did my research and tried to cite a Consumer’s Report article). Caused me to get angry enough to raise my voice. Thought that was the end of it and then he tried again while signing papers. That was BS. Sales rep was great and informative. Also the car had a full tank. More

very helpful and friendly staff I stopped in just to look at a vehicle that I saw on their website. The vehicle was not out on the lot as it was waiting for detailing. Dana went and I stopped in just to look at a vehicle that I saw on their website. The vehicle was not out on the lot as it was waiting for detailing. Dana went and found where the vehicle was and brought it out so I could look at it. He went over everything with me and even got detailed maintenance records to answer some of my questions. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. After looking over the vehicle and taking it for me drive (Dana even rode with and explained features on the drive) I decided this was the vehicle for me and proceeded with the purchase. All the rest of the staff was friendly and we were able to get all the paperwork done and me on my way in a timely manner. This was a great buying experience and I am very happy with my purchase. I was at a different dealership earlier that day and the experience was a night a day difference. There was even a minor issue with the vehicle that they went out of their way to make sure was taken car of before I left. I am grateful to their service personnel as well for being professional and efficient. I am very glad I stopped in. More

Outstanding Used Car Buying Experience Dana and Nathan were wonderful to work with.
