Lisa, I looked further into your experience and it looks like you had a frozen pin stuck in the caliper which did not allow the brake pad to retract all the way. Due to you living and driving in the city your brakes will automatically need to be replaced sooner than non-city driving, however as Daniel discussed with you after your service, we recommend that you do a brake service every 15K miles where we clean and adjust.
