The staff listened to my issues with the vehicle, and along with repairing a current recall went above and beyond and repaired the issue with my car from the prior recall. Thank you for the follow through. I will be a Stivers ford customer from now on. More

After having the generator replaced on my hybrid F-150 at Ford Stivers, every warning light in the vehicle lit up, a clear sign of a serious issue. When I returned to the shop, I was told the truck suddenly Ford Stivers, every warning light in the vehicle lit up, a clear sign of a serious issue. When I returned to the shop, I was told the truck suddenly needed updates for every single module and that this would resolve the problem. That explanation is illogical. Software updates don’t just vanish. This points to a hardware or electrical issue, likely tied to the installation of the new generator. Despite explaining this for two days, I was still hit with an $800 bill to “update” modules that were fully up-to-date before the generator was replaced. Even the technician admitted he had never seen every module require updates at once. The only justification I received was, “Ford pushes out updates all the time, so get used to it.” Yes, Ford sends updates—but not to every module simultaneously. That’s common sense. The refusal to acknowledge fault and the reliance on weak excuses reflects poorly on Ford Stivers. After just three days and two short drives, every warning light is back on—and I’m back at the shop again. It’s no wonder there are never any loaner vehicles available: they can’t keep cars out of the service bay. This experience has shown me that Ford Stivers lacks both accountability and genuine customer care. More
