I purchased my first brand new Toyota at the Inver Grove Heights dealership in February of 2022. I spent months researching and looking for vehicles in the used and new vehicle market that had all the things I wanted. After walking into other dealerships, I reached a point of being stress out, concerned about the lack of inventory and potential long wait times due to current economic challenges. The landscape of buying new vehicle has changed dramatically from what it was 10 years ago. You cannot expect to walk into a dealership and go home that same day with a new car. I did not give up and unexpectedly walked into the Inver Grove Heights location on a Monday evening. Darin was there and he understood my frustrations, especially when I was ready (financially) for a new vehicle. I had a lot of questions and he took his time and answered every single one… with patience and professionalism at its finest. We ended up taking a test drive with a Highlander and I was sold. I placed my name on one vehicle that was not even “born” yet. Darin kept in touch with every single step of way and provided status updates as expected. The day came (earlier than expected) and I had to come in later in the evening to sign the documents and Darin stayed until I was ready to bring my “baby” home… well after closing time. We spend 45 minutes outside in the windy and cold weather to go over the vehicle and he walked me through the registrations processes with the Toyota App and shared some personal stories along the way. Darin was phenomenal, courteous and patient and made absolutely sure that all my questions were answered. THANK YOU Darin Wald.
