My family is on a road trip from Seattle and wanted to get a maintenance check in the two days we were in LA. Took me in right away and the staff was great. So polite and expeditious. I was lied to You all are nice enough, but a few weeks ago, I was emailed a $50 gift card by them that stated it was good to use for any service until Aug 1st. I c You all are nice enough, but a few weeks ago, I was emailed a $50 gift card by them that stated it was good to use for any service until Aug 1st. I called and received a $40 quote for a tire rotation. When I arrived they quoted me $40 for the tire rotation. At the end, I showed them the gift card I was emailed and he says, "Oh that was sent out by mistake, let me check with my manager." He then comes back and tells me they will honor the gift card they sent me (no xxxx!), but that the $40 was a "special price" and the actual price for the tire rotation is $70. I ask him to explain why I would have to pay more than was originally quoted and he starts going on about labor and clicking on a calculator, missing the point entirely. In the interest of preserving my time and avoiding in-person drama, I pay the $20 and leave. This is a realllly shady way to deal with your customers and the company and manager should absolutely be ashamed of themselves. I will never bring my car back here. More
