I was looking for a 2011, blue Camry XLE, 4 cylinder. When someone mentioned I should check out Russel Toyota, I was willing to try it. Boy, was I impressed. I dealt with one person, told him what I wanted and asked for price. I was given a price and able to confirm it was a good one! When I told them I would be picking the car up with my 11-year old, they did a great job of making her feel like the decisionmaker. All-in-all a truly nice experience, no gimmicks, gotchas, just plain old friendly folks! More

Why did I switch to Russel Toyota? I had been a faithful customer at a Westminster Toyota Dealership - puchased 4 cars and had all my service work done there. When they wanted to start charging me for a loaner - that was it. I came to Russel Toyota Rte 40 West to have my service done. I even brought my own oil - Mobil One. My mechanic was Pat Kenney. I met Karen Farina Service Operations Mgr when a hole was accidentally burned in my rear bumper - it was replaced. Pat, Karen & I became real close during the times (5) my engine light kept coming on. We finally came up with the winning solution. I always enjoy being greeted by Chuck when I drive in the Sevice bay. Mr Marvin was my service writer, but he just retired. I will team up with James "JR" Haley from now on. Last year this time, I got to drive a LOANER Venza. Boy did that make up my mind as to my next car purchase. I had been considering a Lexus RX or an Acura. But then I thought - if I did that I would have to leave MY TEAM behind. I decided to ship my 2003 Camry SE w/178000miles to my son Christopher in Portland, OR. I told him keep oil changed (Mobil One) and he would get another 100,000 miles. I told David Day what I wanted. that afternoon he let me know the ONLY Barcelona Red Venza, 6ccl fwd, double Moon Roof & Leather seats was in WVA. YES - get it. This is the 4th Toyota I and My family have bought from David Day @ Russle Toyota in the past 25 yrs. All 4 vehicles (3 Camrys and 1 Corrola) attained close to 200,000 miles and 1 that was passed down to s David Day @ Russle Toyota in the past 25 yrs. All 4 vehicles (3 Camrys and 1 Corrola) attained close to 200,000 miles and 1 that was passed down to several student family members is still running at near 300,000 miles. The lack of repair work needed for these vehicles was truely astonishing! The only repairs these vehicles needed were brakes, tires, rotors, an alternator, timing belts, a window regulator-- regular wear and tear stuff. Not one of those vehicles ever had a powertrain issue. The V6 LE Camry I just traded in was 16 years young and in good running cond. I got an excellent price for it from Russle. Buying cars from David @ Russle Toyota is always a pleasure. No game playing and no feelings like you are being jerked around. I called David and left a message on his voice mail that I saw a Camry Solara online that I was interested in. When I drove up to the showroom the next day, the Solara was cleaned, turned on and ready to go! After a very quick credit check, I was handed the keys, and spent the rest of the morning driving and falling in love with the car. Prior to calling David, I researched comparable Solaras in the MD / D.C area and the Russle price was 4-5000.00 cheaper and the miles were much lower. Russle/Toyota also provided free Car Fax, 7yr 100,000 mi powertrain warranty, 1 yr bumper to bumper warranty, and 1 yr roadside assistance. Russle also provided proof of 1 car ownership and the car was in impeccable condition. The buying process took about 15 minutes and was low pressure and hassle free. I highly recommend David Day and Russle Toyota to anyone who is considering buying a Toyota. I recently took my car to Russel Toyota to have them fix a major issue that Jiffy Lube caused. As a new Prius owner, I was ignorant and took my car to Jiffy Lube to have the oil changed. The individuals wer a major issue that Jiffy Lube caused. As a new Prius owner, I was ignorant and took my car to Jiffy Lube to have the oil changed. The individuals were not well-trained, and filled my oil level too high causing a malfunction. My car literally shut down in the middle of the road. I called Russel right away, and they said to have it towed to them to fix the damage. They were completely understanding and recommended that I take it to them in the future (should have to begin with!!). I received a reasonable price, new knowledge about my Prius and how it works, and walked away happy with everyone I dealt with. I will absolutely continue using them in the future. More
