Both were professional, knowledgeable, respectful, and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. They made the truck-buying process smooth, and I truly appreciate their hard work and dedication to customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my experience with Gene Hogan in the finance department. My interaction with Gene was extremely disappointing. I found him to be rude, disrespectful, pushy, and, most importantly, lacking transparency when it came to securing the best financing rate. I was initially presented with a higher interest rate than I was comfortable accepting. Rather than feeling like Gene was working in my best interest, I felt pressured to accept the financing being offered. I ultimately had to take matters into my own hands and contact my personal bank to secure the rate I knew I could get. Only after I did the legwork myself did Gene go back to his lender and manage to negotiate the interest rate down to what I had originally requested. My biggest issue is this: If I hadn’t contacted my own bank and challenged the original rate, would I have been left paying a higher interest rate unnecessarily? That is not how I believe customers should be treated, especially when making such a significant financial purchase. Customers should not have to fight for fair financing or feel pressured into accepting a deal that may not be in their best interest. Honesty, transparency, and respect should be the foundation of any dealership’s finance department. What should have been an exciting and stress-free experience was unnecessarily frustrating because of the way the financing was handled. Cory and David deserve five stars for their outstanding customer service. They genuinely made me feel valued as a customer, and I would absolutely recommend working with them. However, my experience with Gene Hogan was the complete opposite, and I hope dealership management takes this feedback seriously. A great sales team can earn a customer’s trust, but a poor finance experience can quickly damage it. I’m very happy with my new truck, and I’m grateful to Cory and David for helping make it happen. I just wish the same level of professionalism, honesty, and customer care had carried through to the finance department. More
