Not necessarily uncommon to display and disclose, but definitely recognized and appreciated. David Jurs's approach was to tell me I was wrong, and there was nothing he could do. The point of the conversation that I was looking to have was to try to find a solution, and he was not interested in that at all. It could have been handled much, much better. Additional info regarding the tire rotations: We called Hankook directly and they told us they recommend tire rotation every 7500 miles, not every 5000 miles. Regardless of the missed rotations (no matter how you count it - 1 or 2, depending on 5000 or 7500), I don't believe that the 45,000 miles tires should be worn out at 20,000 miles. Neither one of us can prove that the rotations mattered or didn't matter because we don't have the alternative to compare it to. David did say he approves warranty tire replacements all day long (which actually seems like an acknowledgment that there is a problem with the tires in general). If the extent of your response is an apology for how I "interpreted the service manager's approach" (this is not really an apology), telling me how good he really is (not in my single interaction with him, he wasn't), and asking for another chance, I'm not inclined to do so, unless there is a real effort at coming to a solution.
