Overall experience was great until I sat with the finance person. He tried way too hard to get me to purchase the extended warranties. Which I insisted I did not want and DID not purchase. The two sales persons, Andrew and David were very friendly and upfront. My only other issue was that my salesperson was at times busy doing other things while trying to serve me. I came to Gearhart Chevrolet to trade in my old SUV and buy a Tahoe. I test drove the hybrid and LTZ did not feel pressured to make a decision before I was ready to do so. My wife and I went into Gearhart with the purpose of finding an SUV of her liking as it was the gift I promised her for her 50th birthday instead of a lavish party which she did not want. David Rose and Damon Velasquez made the purchase an excellent one with their friendliness, good nature and professionalism. David worked dilligently to get all the features that my wife was hoping to get, ultimately finding exactly what she wanted, topping it off by putting a nice birthday bow on the hood of the beautiful 2012 Equinox when we arrived to pick it up. Damon was just as excellent, patiently explaining all our options and financial scenarios all with a warm sense of humor and professionalism. David and Damon did the Gearhart company well, I must say and I've already recommended them to friends and family members. It's great to see solid qualitative sales service with human beings working with human beings as opposed to other dealerships which seem to have a shop full of politicians.
