They sold my 84-year-old grandmother — who has dementia, no driver’s license, and lives solely on Social Security income — a 2026 Ford Escape for $34,000, financed over 84 months at a 23.8% interest rate, bringing the total cost to over $74,000. This transaction raises serious ethical and potentially legal concerns. When I reviewed the loan agreement and brought my concerns to the dealership, I was met with complete indifference. The sales manager dismissed every concern I raised and stated there was “nothing wrong with the loan,” even going so far as to justify the predatory terms by claiming “people are actually paying more than that nowadays.” This response was dismissive, unprofessional, and frankly, insulting. Selling a $34,000 vehicle on an 84-month high-interest loan to an elderly person with dementia who does not hold a driver’s license is not just poor business practice — it is predatory. The individuals involved in structuring and approving this deal should be held accountable. I strongly urge anyone considering this dealership to think twice. I will be pursuing every available avenue to resolve this matter. More
