The communication with our sales rep Debbie was great leading up to the dealership visit. She had the vehicle of interest ready for review when we arrived. The vehicle was just as it was described on the leading up to the dealership visit. She had the vehicle of interest ready for review when we arrived. The vehicle was just as it was described on the website, the negotiation was pressure free, the dialog was constructive, and we came to an agreement where all parties involved were satisfied. Ed was extremely helpful and accommodating, he assisted where needed to move the deal along. We drove all the way from Delaware and we are pleased that we did. We got there later in the evening, but everyone stayed after hours with no gripes to get the deal done. Big thanks to Debbie, Ed, and all at Sloane Toyota for making our purchase a pleasurable experience. More

This is a tale of two experiences. I purchased a 2023 Tacoma TRD Sport. The entire purchasing process was done by email and it was pretty smooth once Sloane selected a sales associate I purchased a 2023 Tacoma TRD Sport. The entire purchasing process was done by email and it was pretty smooth once Sloane selected a sales associate for me to work with. The truck arrived timely and I scheduled time to pick-up the vehicle. My entire experience with Sloane dramatically changed for the negative on pick-up. My sales person barely acknowledged me. Asked me if I had looked at the truck. I told her I had not and she said “why not it’s parked out front”. By out front the sales associate meant 3 rows toward Lancaster Avenue buried among many other new and used Toyotas. I was permitted to look at the truck but there was no overview of the features, no explanation of unique features, it was just me walking around the truck to make sure it wasnt dented. First time, I did not have a sales associate provide an overview of the rig on inspection. The paperwork process was a mess, despite an appointment none of the paperwork was ready. After an hour, I was introduced to the finance guy who threw his hands up when Toyota Financial had to clear a fraud alert on my credit profile. I sat for over an hour with no follow up from finance or the sales associate. I finally got so frustrated that I paid cash for the rig instead of financing. Even paying cash was a headache with the paperwork having to be redone 4 times and Sloane initially not honoring the price they quoted me. Three hours later, I left in my Tacoma, figuring out how to use the radio, adjust the mirrors, sync my phone, and open the bed cover. If you appreciate being forgotten and have 3 or more hours to kill buying a car then Sloane is your dealer. Otherwise keep driving, there are other dealers who will appreciate you as a customer. More
