I went looking for a Santa Fe ,but Demetrious steered me I went looking for a Santa Fe ,but Demetrious steered me to the "used" Vera Cruz" which, with all the bells and whistles, worked out to about what a I went looking for a Santa Fe ,but Demetrious steered me to the "used" Vera Cruz" which, with all the bells and whistles, worked out to about what a new loaded Santa Fe would have been, a good example of "selling up" in which all parties profit. After the required bargaining, I got a fully loaded car at a price I was willing to pay, and the dealership got to sell the same car twice, a win -win all around. I am sure I will be a happy camper as soon as we figure out how to work all those extra do-dads.. Demetrius was patient, knowledgeable, and worked very quickly to get us in and out as we let him know we were short on time. This is the very first time I can honestly say I enjoyed my car buying experie quickly to get us in and out as we let him know we were short on time. We stopped at Hyundai of St. Augustine as the first dealership on our shopping trip. We were very interested in a Hyundai but wanted to look at other vehicles just to get an idea of what our options we dealership on our shopping trip. We were very interested in a Hyundai but wanted to look at other vehicles just to get an idea of what our options were. Demetrius Davis was very helpful, laid-back, and far from the typical pushy salesperson as he showed us around the dealership. He was patient with my picky tendencies and went out of his way to help us find the car that was exactly right for us (all while walking around in 90 degree heat!). After we'd looked at our options we told him we wanted to check out a few more dealerships. Instead of trying to pressure us to stay and commit to a Hyundai right then and there, he encouraged us to look around and come back. After looking at other cars, we knew that we wanted a Hyundai (the Elantra Touring to be specific) but it was Demetrius' sales style that truly brought us back to this dealership. If we hadn't been comfortable, we would have called it a day and gone to another Hyundai dealership to look some more in the next few days. Once we returned, he discussed our options with us and was very upfront about which vehicles would get the payments where we wanted them. He had already printed up a price and payment sheet while we were gone just in case. We really wanted to get into a different color (and nicer) model but it put our payments out of the range we were comfortable with. However, we felt that we would be settling for the other model and didn't want to "settle" while buying a new car. Demetrius worked with us until we were able to get the payments to a comfortable price point and we left the dealership with the exact car we wanted. We would absolutely go back and 100% recommend Demetrius to friends and family in the future. Overall, today was a very pleasant car-buying experience. Everyone we encountered was straightforward, helpful, and friendly. More

The purchase of my new car from St. Augustine Hyundai far exceeded my expectations. The entire staff was courteous ,professional and friendly. I would like to say that my overall experience with the Hyundai dealership in St Augustine was excellent. I have had bad experiences in the past and it just makes you HATE to have to purchase a new car. Mr Hyundai dealership in St Augustine was excellent. Mr Demetrius Davis made this experience with purchasing a car better and I would recommend him to my friends & family. I was nervous buying a new car. I consider going to a dealership like going to see a dentist, lawyer or doctor. You HATE to go, but know you need to. I was between a Toyota Corolla and a Hyundai Elantra. dealership like going to see a dentist, lawyer or doctor. You HATE to go, but know you need to. I was between a Toyota Corolla and a Hyundai Elantra. I picked the Elantra for a few reasons. 1 - the gas miliage. 2 - its bigger and looks classier (like a "Shark" friends at work say -- the shape and antenna as a fin). Back to the dealership, I went to Toyota (St Aug) first, the Saturday before and they were pushy, wanted me to buy that day, trying to sell me extra, etc. Then, I went to Hyundai (across the street), they did not give me any problems. No sales pressure. They came out to meet me, gave me a set of keys to look at the car, etc and then I left to think it over. They impressed me so much, I came back the next week and had the pleasure of working with them. I plan to buy my next car there too. They do not attack you, pressure you or make you feel like you are going to a dreaded appointment. More

I wasn't very happy overall with my new car purchase. I I wasn't very happy overall with my new car purchase. I felt pressured in many ways. The car is everything that I wanted and expected. My sales man I wasn't very happy overall with my new car purchase. I felt pressured in many ways. The car is everything that I wanted and expected. My sales man was informative. The problem that I had was that he wanted to close the deal by the end of the month. I was fine with that because that was what I wanted too. I have a strict schedule between work and family. My salesman and I set an early appointment time to review the numbers and to purchase the vehichle. I filled the credit app out prior to my visit, had pay stubs, insurance information, honorable discharge paperwork, and trade-in pay off information readily available. I arrived at the dealership at 0845 and left at 1315. I realize that the end of the month is important but if I am going to be pressured into closing the deal on an inconvient day your dealership should have their ducks in a row. The delays where really simple to prevent. I had to wait for my car to be detailed, filled up, to fill out more paperwork, and then had to return to get my registration/ temp tag !! At each step of filling out my paperwork I feel that there was another scam waiting to happen. I ended up buying some stupid warranty for over thousand dollars because I was half asleep. Who wants the wrap around 100,000 interior warranty? I guess I do because I'm the proud owner of one. I specifically asked my sales man prior to my mother in law leaving how much longer and can the total change from what it is now. He replied no and soon. Try three hours later with an increase of price of 1800 dollars. In pure exhaustion from being up all night and now half the day I remebered while driving home my sticker on my plate was going to expire the following day. I then backed up and had to wait another half an hour to get a temp tag. Needless to say when I arrived at my 1845 shift I was beat. Please contact me if you have any questions about my feed back. I was very satisfied with my experience at St. Augustine Hyundai. Unlike other dealerships, they don't have any "gimmicks", just good prices and honesty! Got a great deal on my new 2012 Elantra. I was pre-a Hyundai. Unlike other dealerships, they don't have any "gimmicks", just good prices and honesty! Got a great deal on my new 2012 Elantra. I was pre-approved by my Credit Union before buying the car and Hyundai of St. Augustine actually beat my Credit Union's rate, so I financed with them. I was impressed by the way I was treated and the honesty of the staff. These days, this is hard to find in car dealerships. I surely will be back when looking for my next car. The Elantra drives phenomenal, like a much larger car. Quiet ride and great fuel efficiency. Got 44.3 mpg on my way home from St. Augustine to Lakeland/FL. Great looking and driving car! Thanks More
