Auto Purchase I purchased a new 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan SE at Luther Park Place Motors. The experience started out a little rough, the appt. salesperson I had initially scheduled with was a no show. I must say this has never happened to me before. I didn't let this have an effect on the rest of my car shopping that day. Demetrius Johnson took over the appointment, even though he was extremely busy and it was late in the day he took his time talking with me. Things went up from there, were positive from that point on. After discussion of what I was looking for, and a test drive, Demetrius and the rest of the team at Park Place went to work and made it all work within my budget. This vehicle is my 4th car purchase from Park Place Motors in Rochester. I have never been more satisfied with each purchase as well as the service department, they go above and beyond as well. After completing the financing their safety inspection revealed it needed a few things to conform to their used car safety standards and asked for an additional day before I took delivery. They made the necessary repairs using quality parts. I feel like the safety of my family was of great concern to this dealership. I think anytime you buy a 10+ year-old vehicle You run the risk of Having issues but this dealership has left me feeling very confident loading up my large Family and going down the road. More

Disappointed We have purchased several new and used cars at this dealership. We were always pleased. This time it was different. It felt disconnected, the car w We have purchased several new and used cars at this dealership. We were always pleased. This time it was different. It felt disconnected, the car was not cleaned prior to our driving it even tho I called a day ahead. The price quoted on the phone was not honored. Despite that I purchased the car at a new price. When we went to pick up the car it was still not very clean. The gas tank was less than half full( we had to drive directly to the gas station) and although we knew it ahead the dealership would not put on new tires. I was supposed to get two keys but they could only find one when we picked up the car. The Audi/BMW edge was missing. The payment (cash) process was extremely long and significant pressure to buy extra care and services. We did not get the impression the sales folks, cashiers and service folks worked at all well together. The car was a gift to our daughter. The ribbon promised at pick up was not delivered ( small issue but added to the disappointment). More

I will talk to friends and associates about their vehicles, and their experiences. I'll research new vehicles on-line, Consumer Reports, Edmunds, US News, KBB and other sites. I do price comparisons for new cars, and try to establish exactly what I want to get out of my trade. After having all my numbers, I called Park Place Motors to schedule a test drive, and Demetrius Johnson took the call and arranged the test drive. The vehicle we selected was already sold, so we test drove others like it, but not in the color we wanted or having all the features we were looking for. We were treated extremely well. Demetrius introduced us to his manager James Taylor who worked with us to find the exact vehicle we were looking for and then located that vehicle to bring it to Park Place for us. Without any negotiation or haggling James and Demetrius came in right in line with the prices I had in mind for the new vehicle and for the value of our trade-in. My wife and I could not be happier with our experience at Park Place motors, with Demetrius Johnson, James Taylor and, our new vehicle. Thank you! More
