These people are crooks. Took my car in for A/C service and was told estimate would be $405 and would be applied to service. Was sent an invoice for $1,400 for A/C service valve repair. I took the estimate to another Volvo dealer and they quoted $450 for the exact same repair. Rusnak made me pay $405 for the diagnostic on a job that would cost $450 from a reputable Volvo Dealer in the same area. These people are crooks and Dennis, the Service Manager, is most likely the root of the problem. I gave him the opportunity to explain why the estimate was 300% higher than his local competitor and he was rude, defensive and arrogant. Shame on you Rusnak Volvo. I've reported the experience to Volvo USA. More

Extraordinarily poor communication and lack of transparency. My new car went in for a warranty issue and while I appreciate when Volvo engineers get involved it can extend the timeline. However, throughout the process the Service Advisor only relied on text (until she called at the end when car was ready) and did not reply to one of my texts. Over the course of 4+ weeks received only four texts (2 in the first two days) and none of which shared any useful information other than to say ‘no updates’. All communication was driven by me and in each conversation the service advisor had little to no detail available. Multiple times promises were made as to when they would provide an update and 100% of the time the commitment was missed, including from Dennis (Service Mgr) whom I heard from once and never again despite his promise he would provide recurring updates on specific dates. I was at the point where I considered just taking my car back, paying for the fix elsewhere rather than having it covered with Rusnak under warranty. Talked to several independent Volvo specialists and each one, unprompted by me, volunteered that they often hear from frustrated Rusnak customers on the same topics (they don’t communicate, don’t provide details, only want to text, never pick up the phone) More

Rusnak Volvo Westlake/Thousand Oaks has always been topnotch A+ giving us confidence & peace of mind! Highly recommend them. When possible, I usually wait for my car to be worked on in Rusnak Volvo's modernized business lodge with its upgraded technical devices for example, wifi, charging stations, couches, desks with chairs, tables, coffee, water & snacks. I write code a lot & the quiet environment there is perfect for me to concentrate. This dealership has polite, professional, & knowledgable personnel making it a pleasure to interact with, their expertise has been comforting to us knowing our Volvo is in great hands. Big thumbs up! I’m frustrated by the communication from volvo. I was told first everything was fine and to pick my car up. When I shared I’m seeing the same charge error on my app I was told by Susan there I was told first everything was fine and to pick my car up. I asked that the technician check again and was told by Susan that in fact there was a problem with the charge and that parts had been ordered so there won’t be any delay in getting it fixed. I was told the next day, Monday) the parts are ordered (I thought they already were?) and they should arrive Tuesday or Wednesday of last week. I let them know the engine light in the loaner car I was given went on. Brianna asked me to drive to the dealer to switch it out. I wasn’t able to do that and the light went away. I was told I wouldn’t have to do this back and forth with the dealer after having to make that trip 3 times within 3 days of owning this brand new car due to problems. I was told on Thursday by Susan that parts had not yet arrived. On Friday I asked if I can get some clarity on what is wrong with this car and when I can expect it back. No one responded. The Apple play in the loaner car stopped working also. More
