Extraordinarily poor communication and lack of transparency. My new car went in for a warranty issue and while I appreciate when Volvo engineers get involved it can extend the timeline. However, throughout the process the Service Advisor only relied on text (until she called at the end when car was ready) and did not reply to one of my texts. Over the course of 4+ weeks received only four texts (2 in the first two days) and none of which shared any useful information other than to say ‘no updates’. All communication was driven by me and in each conversation the service advisor had little to no detail available. Multiple times promises were made as to when they would provide an update and 100% of the time the commitment was missed, including from Dennis (Service Mgr) whom I heard from once and never again despite his promise he would provide recurring updates on specific dates. I was at the point where I considered just taking my car back, paying for the fix elsewhere rather than having it covered with Rusnak under warranty. Talked to several independent Volvo specialists and each one, unprompted by me, volunteered that they often hear from frustrated Rusnak customers on the same topics (they don’t communicate, don’t provide details, only want to text, never pick up the phone) More

Many difficult experiences with the service department. This last experience was especially disappointing. Took car in to be fixed. Part needed to be ordered and was told the car would be repaired the next This last experience was especially disappointing. Took car in to be fixed. Went to pick up the car the following day and were told that the part that needed to be replaced in our car was actually replaced in a different car. This was end of day Friday. Come Monday, I needed to call and text multiple times to see if my car would be ready that day as it was hard to get ahold of someone. I can honestly say that we have not had one positive experience with the service department. More
