My wife and I had a very good experience with Eddie Cooks and Don Hesher. Eddie was very patient and knowledgeable and Don worked his magic as he always does. We knew Don from where he previously was emplo and Don Hesher. Eddie was very patient and knowledgeable and Don worked his magic as he always does. We knew Don from where he previously was employed and developed a friendship over the past several years. When we heard that the had gone with Fred Anderson, we knew that we would contact him there for our next car, and we did. Thanks to both Eddie and Don for their help and a great buying experience. We just returned from a nice Sunday afternoon drive in the 2010 Venza we purchased, and are very happy with the vehicle. If and when we, or someone we know needs a vehicle, we won't hesitate to recommend Fred Anderson Toyota. More

My salesman was Danny Marflake, who was very personable. He acted as a mediator between myself and the Sales Managers. The first Sales Manager that i dealt with was Don. He was very laid back and pretty e He acted as a mediator between myself and the Sales Managers. The first Sales Manager that i dealt with was Don. He was very laid back and pretty easy to work with. We could not come to an agreed price, so i left the deal on the table b/c of $1600 stalemate for a $40K truck. I later returned the next week to try and work the deal after speaking with my bank. However, I was introduced to a very rude, pompous, arrogant Sales Manager named Chris Fitzgerald. Danny tried to be the mediator between us, but Mr. Fitzgerald's attitude was too much to overcome. He said some things to me that I would never tell a customer getting ready to spend $40k. The truck ultimately sold itself with help from a nice, easy-going salesman named Danny. Danny did a good job and I would recommend him as a salesman at this dealership.. He gets great reviews and with his sales approach he deserves them. I haven't bought my truck yet, it's being shipped to the dealership, but if the truck meets my expectations I will buy it from Fred Anderson Toyota. In the future I hope to purchase a Highlander or Sequoia for my wife, and will try and use Danny as a relationship has already been established and I am very loyal to good people. I will stay clear of Mr. Fitzgerald and hopefully have a better experience at negotiation time. More

This was a top notch experience from the moment I arrived on the dealer lot to the time I left with my added leather seats. All of the staff was excellent, knowledgable and helpful. However, our recent experience at Toyota of Charleston was one of the be Most people dread buying a new car and having to deal with car salesmen. However, our recent experience at Toyota of Charleston was one of the best experiences we have ever had making such a major purchase!! My husband and I have bought over 15 vehicles and/or trucks for us and our sons over the past 40 years, but this was the most pleasant car-buying experience with a dealer. We received much more for our used truck in a trade-in than we imagined and also were given a fantastic price for a new 2012 Toyota Tacoma truck. Danny Marflake didn't play any games and was not the typical pushy car salesman. His manager Don Hesher was also a very friendly and customer-oriented individual. Both of these people made sure that we were completely satisfied and worked with us for several hours to ensure that we were happy. Whereas many salespeople forget about their customers after they drive off the lot in their new vehicle, we have already received a couple of follow-up messages and calls from Danny. The last thing that Don said to us when we left was to let him know if there were any problems and to call him if there were. I have already told several friends and family members about our great deal and would highly recommend this dealership and sales team. They have certainly earned our business and we will definitely visit them again when we are in the market for either a used or new car or truck. Toyota of Charleston has restored our faith in car dealerships and car salespeople and made us happy Toyota owners!! More
