Always professional I've only dealt with the Service department and they have always been courteous and professional. Schumacher VW of West Palm - Liars and crooks Schumacher VW of West Palm is absolutely, every bit deserving of a 1 star review on everything from sales to service to customer satisfaction. I fi Schumacher VW of West Palm is absolutely, every bit deserving of a 1 star review on everything from sales to service to customer satisfaction. I first had a poor experience when shopping for my new VW with Schumacher of West Palm. Not to bore you on that story, but it was a very poor car buying experience - a price was discussed over the phone, that number changed once onsite, the Sale Manager was aggressive and ultimately I did not purchase the vehicle from them. Now, as for the service department. WOW - Absolutely horrible experience with them. I needed something serviced on my brand new VW (again purchased from another dealership). They were one of a few service departments in my area that had a tool needed to fix an electrical component on my vehicle (in warranty). Day 1 - I made the appointment, took the day off of work and drove 40 miles to their service department. When I get there, I was told that the technician who can work on this component of my vehicle is in training for the day and that they can't do the work. That would have been nice to know before making the appointment and burning a PTO day! Day 2 - I reschedule the appointment, take another day off work, drive another 40 miles to the service department and that's where the fun started. I discuss the issue I am having with the service manager and he tells me that in order for them to fix it (before even looking at car), it will cost $400. I explain to him that my car is brand new and well within warranty and it should be covered. The service manager proceeds to ARGUE with me, completely unwarranted about how if they are going to repair this item on my car "It will cost me $400. ...And that I wouldn't get my car back until I paid." This is crazy and terrible service. The Service manager was super hostile, for no apparent reason. So, I call VW of America Corporate, and explain the issue to them. A ticket is created, but it will take time for them to review everything so I cannot get my car serviced this day. Another day of PTO wasted. So I drive home and get a call back from VWoA a few days later about the case. Shumacher VW of West Palm LIED to VWoA and told them that my car had been in an accident, and literally made up a story about my car being in a body shop - which is why they were unable to repair my vehicle's electronic issue in warranty. That was a COMPLETE and total fabrication. My car is literally brand new, off the lot, never been in any sort of accident or modified in any way as to void warranty. If you stuck around long enough to read this whole story, I CANNOT recommend Schumacher VW of West Palm for sales or service. They are liars, provided me with some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and clearly have no moral compass. A very well-deserved 1-star review in my opinion. More

Brian was amazing! ***** Brian was respectful, knowledgeable & funny! He helped me understand what I was purchasing.
