Confusing and botched service I called to schedule a 105,000 mile service after looking at the Honda flyer. I wanted an oil change and any other maintenance that was due. I have a 2012 4 cylinder Civic with 109,000 miles. When I called, I was told I needed a valve adjustment and spark plug replacement. I assumed that was part of the regular service, without looking at the description more closely. The worker gave me a 1:30 appt. for the following Monday 9/17 and said it would take a couple of hours. Late Saturday I got a voicemail informing me that the engine needed to be cold, so I would need to drop it off Sunday eve. or Monday morning. I dropped it off Sunday. Monday, I got a call saying that a bolt had broken and would need to be specially ordered. The car would therefore not be ready until sometime Tuesday. I picked up the car Tuesday afternoon, drove away, and realized the oil hadn’t gotten changed. I called and was told that I had requested the valve and spark plug work, not an oil change. So, $725 later, I still did not get all the services listed and got services that are not listed as needed for a Civic. I did speak with Donnie Paige, who was identified as the manager (but not listed as such below), who was pleasant and offered a free and quick oil change, but I was still confused as whether the valve and spark plug work were even recommended for a Civic. Also, I still need all the other services listed under 105,000 Mile Service, as far as I know. More

I appreciated honesty. service next day was quick and efficient. I heard noise on way there and they checked that out as well giving me a quote prior so no surprises. great folks to deal with. More

Be detailed with the service dpt on your needs/expectations After a few visits over the past year, they are friendly and do the basic maintenance jobs within about an hour. They can honor a slightly expired coupon and have a good Monthly email & Honda app for smartphones. However, the price to get my tires checked was a bit pricey & they are slow to make detailed recommendations depending on which Rep you speak/work with regarding repairs. Was charged sixty bucks in the tire pressure problem because a Honda software update was needed. I have had the car for only 10 momths and had to pay for faulting sensors communications by the manufacturer.For example, one service rep offered wiper inserts whereas another in the past made no mention that they could conduct this simple hardware upgrade. More
