Service adviser Maria Almeida is an angel. 20 years ago Dennis worked on my parents Lincolns at Port Motors, the Mechanic Dennis Young is a wizard. Service adviser Maria Almeida is an angel. 20 years ago Dennis worked on my parents Lincolns at Port Motors, the Port Washington dealership that closed long ago.. I moved to Florida. My parents became ill and I moved back to NY to care for them. It was difficult to find Dennis but I did. The first experience I had with Dennis 20 years ago was the new Lincoln kept shutting off while driving and no one could figure out what was wrong. We spent a lot of money, but no one could figure out what was wrong. I asked for the best mechanic and they said Dennis was the best. Dennis looked at it for a few minutes and said it was a bad egr valve, a part that costs about $2. I have many other stories like this about Dennis. After that day, no one touched my parents cars or my cars except Dennis. When I found Dennis at Hempstead Ford Lincoln, there were a few service advisers who I wont name, but were not good. I was mistreated so badly by some of the service advisers, even though Dennis was there, I was thinking about going somewhere else. Manager Doug Curtis referred me to Maria Almeida. Maria is an angel. Maria arranges appointments exactly when I want them. Maria knows what I want done to my car, so I dont even have to ask. She knows. If I ask Maria something, she understands completely and immediately. Maria returns calls usually within 15 minutes if for some reason she doesnt pick up here phone, which most of the time she does. Maria is happily married--no surprise. More
