When I took possession of the car, the salesperson was inattentive. Although he did pair my phone to the car, he made no attempt to familiarize me with any of the cars features and how to actually utilize inattentive. In the past,when I've purchased a new car, the salesperson would sit in the car with me and review such features as the navigation system, important safety features. etc. Not this time. This salesperson sent most of the time, while I tried to explore the car, at his desk Overall, the lack of professionalism made the new car experience disappointing. More

At first we were impressed with how quickly the salesperson, Nicole got back to us as we weren't locals. We were able to do everything over the phone, texts and emails to seal the deal. It was raining upon arrival and we were greated by another salesperson who introduced us to Ed Toto..Ed mentioned he didnt expect us so early but would get us a tag to take the vehicle of a text drive. We then met back at Nicoles desk, Ed explained he had $660.00 in vehicle (OLF, cabin fliter, inspection, wiper blades)..the oil change was only at 85% and never reset..Also seemed strange to change a cabin filter at 15,000 miles?? We then moved to the Finance Manager, Kris, he was outstanding! Kris was very informative and took the time to work through every detail of our process at Sloane of Malvern. After the papers were signed, Nicole walked us out to our "new to us" vehicle, it is then we noticed the lower bumper section was damaged/scratched, a scratch on the rear passenger door that had been covered over with nonmatching paint and a golf ball sized dent near the gas fill. She went to get Ed and he came out and admitted to us he saw the golf ball dent by the gas fill but neglected to tell us. He offered us a free oil change and full tank of gas when we return for service at some point. Your dealership already offered us 2 free oil changes with purchase. We drove a great distance home and once we pulled into our driveway to show our family, we then noticed a slice in the sidewall of our front passenger tire (which had to be replaced) near where the bumper was damaged prior to us leaving the dealership. I reached out to Ed about the tire and he replied with "well it had to have happened on the PA turnpike from a pothole on the long distance ride home" and explained he had already discounted the vehicle $2,000..AND maybe would be considered an illegal inspection. Not the customer service response we were looking for. I am in sales myself and take pride in my customer service and the service my company provides to our customers. We spent the most time talking with Kris, the finance manager, and after speaking with him definitely would consider purchasing another Toyota from Sloane of Malvern in the future. We have owed the vehicle for less than a week and keep finding minor imperfections..(ie: the 3rd row seatbelt looks like it has been chewed by a dog and will need to be replaced!!). We realize that the vehicle is used and would expect some wear and tear but felt that Ed could have pointed these imperfections out prior to us signing the deal. Even the salesperson, Nicole had little knowledge of the vehicle she sold to us. I would have expected more from a dealership in this "elite" area, I used to call home. More

I met Ramiz about 9yrs ago when I got my first lease from Sloane. Not only I felt I have encountered a sales man with knowledge, care and one that did his best to meet my needs n situations throughout the 2 Sloane. Not only I felt I have encountered a sales man with knowledge, care and one that did his best to meet my needs n situations throughout the 2 leased Toyota automobiles (and now the buyout) processes, but also found me a friend whom I hope to keep contact for as long as am able to, regardless of any dealings I or anyone I would refer may have or nor in the future. Everyone at Sloane treated me with respect n care. Mostly noted Josh who wrapped the last few pieces up in good order and informed on what to expect once all the documents were signed. I am appreciative of both and whomever I came in contact with during the 9+ yrs I had a relationship with Sloane... Thank you! More
