Lamar from Sales was AMAZING! He went above and beyond to make me feel confident in my purchase, HOWEVER Zach the man who did my financing paperwork was a complete nightmare!! I am so traumatized from the experience he provided. He was shoving extended warranty policies down my throat for a solid hour started off at $3700 for 100,000 miles or seven years whichever comes first and at first I said yes, but he put me on the spot and after he walked away, I spoke to some family and they told me do not get it. It’s not worth it so he came back out and I told him I decided against it, and he continued to pressure me into it, dropping the price down to $2700 and then dropping it down again to somewhere around $2200 which tells me he was trying to take advantage of me in the first place! if he was able to drop the price down that low it should’ve been offered that low in the first place I kept going back-and-forth with him. I told him no multiple times, but he would keep counter offering me and telling me that my uncle would not be able to fix the GPS screen in my car if it was to breakdown and that I need to stop trusting ChatGPT and that I would not be able to get a policy this cheap anywhere else the moment I drive off a lot because my car would be considered a used car at that point and I would have to pay thousands of dollars extra to get a extended warranty policy and just making me feel very unsure about my decision and not taking no for an answer. His final offer was $1999 for 100,000 miles five year warranty or whichever comes first and at this point my ride was getting very agitated and needed to leave to handle a personal matter so I just said yes hoping that the process would be over but after another 15 to 20 minutes of waiting, for the second time I told the woman in the lobby that I don’t want to take this warranty, and I felt pressured into accepting it because he would not take no an answer and he kept making me feel like I was making the wrong choice and that my uncle didn’t know what he was talking. He finally finished the paperwork and took the warranty off, but his entire demeanor had changed. He became very dry with me short with me and just pure evil. There became a discrepancy in regards to me being charged $15 twice for a credit card fee that I was told would be refunded to me and that really set him off. He’d belittled me and told me that at my age I should understand that all credit card transactions come with a fee he said it to me like I was an imbecile. I worked in the banking world for over 10 years and I know better. He told me that if I were to go to Walmart today and make a purchase there would be a credit card fee, already built into the price of the item just flat out, lied to me. I know better than that my biggest fear going into this was walking into a car dealership as a single female I felt like I was going to get taken advantage of, but I never thought a financing person will be trying to take advantage of me. He told me that it was my fault It was taking so long since I could not make up my mind. His exact words were let’s be clear. This is your fault not mine, and he stormed out of his office and threw his paper on the desk luckily Lamar was there to witness how horrible he was treating me and reported it to the management as I was getting ready to walk away from the sell of this car because of how he treated me, but the manager made things right and assured me that he would handle Zack’s behavior and that this was not the first time he had treated customers this way. My advice, if you are a single female and considering purchasing a car without bringing a male with you, do not go to this location If Zach is still employed here, he will make the experience extremely traumatizing for you. This man took away something that was supposed to be a really special day for me and stole all the joy out of purchasing a new vehicle shame on Honda for hiring somebody as despicable as him. More
