Amazing experience I came in knowing what I wanted and what I wanted to spend. I ended up getting a fantastic deal and walked away happy as can be. Excellent experience purchasing my first new car! Let me start by saying that had it not been for Jerri Robbins, this sale would not have come to pass. She was an excellent salesperson in two respects Let me start by saying that had it not been for Jerri Robbins, this sale would not have come to pass. She was an excellent salesperson in two respects: she was committed to the process of making a sale for the benefit of the company, and she was invested in helping me make a decision that would ultimately make me happiest. She also demonstrated equal measures of professionalism and self-disclosure that made the experience both efficient and human; some of the idle conversations we had in-between waiting for a credit check, processing paperwork, etc. contributed to making the sale. And don't get me started on the new car. The 2019 Accent is stunning in absolute every aspect, inside and out. This is the first subcompact I've fallen head-over-heels for since the days of the Saturn SL. But better still, the car is efficient, roomy, and an overall pleasure to drive. And I'd like to think it will prove reliable for many years to come given the simple drivetrain. But you're not here to read a review of a car, right? It's about the dealership. Admittedly, I do feel that some of the staff I interacted with passively during my experience had a sort of superficialness that had I interacted with them, I probably would have been turned off from making a purchase. It's not to say that there aren't other good salespeople at this dealership, it's just that there's a difference between trying to make a sale while attempting to hide the primary intention of maintaining job security through meeting a quota, and not hiding it - being open that yes, what you are doing is indeed a part of your job requirement, but also being invested in what's going to make the person happiest with whom you're attempting to make a sale. I was given a couple of very tempting options, but Jerri worked with me to make sure I walked away with exactly what I wanted, not just what looked best on paper, in terms of features, etc. The experience could have turned a different direction had it been with someone else, one where I might have walked away with something I would have never been quite satisfied with, or even more likely, nothing at all. Thankfully, I get to walk outside my house and look at a car that makes me smile every single time, and makes me want to continue to be a customer of this specific dealership. The rest of the experience was equally hassle-free, including the financing process with Edward McMurphy; thanks for going over the important points and working with me on some things afterward! All in all, I'm happy with my first experience purchasing a new car. More
