They stand by the cars they sell. My son, who lives out of state and is in the Navy, bought his first car, a 1 year old Tacoma, remotely from this dealer in late August. I had en My son, who lives out of state and is in the Navy, bought his first car, a 1 year old Tacoma, remotely from this dealer in late August. I had encouraged him to buy in Des Moines so that we could see the truck in person. Eric Cornelison sold us the truck and was super helpful and worked with my son on the final purchase. When I went to pick it up, I noticed paint damage around the back rear wheel wells that was not in the inspection report. The manager came out to review it and they immediately said they would fix it and they did a beautiful job. Then, about two weeks later, my husband was washing the truck and saw significant hail damage on the roof. I confirmed the damage with a separate hail specialist who said it was considerable and then I called the Eric. I felt terrible having missed the damage and also knew my son could not afford to fix it out of pocket. Eric took our case to his manager and within about 5 minutes I had a call back with a "bring the truck in, we will take care of it". My son is about to come into town to pick the truck up and I am so happy. This dealership did the right thing both times we had an issue and the truck is now in really great shape. Go Toyota of Des Moines and thank you so much for making this a great first car purchase for our son! And, go Navy! More
