To deflect, they’ll send a link to an overpriced model on another site. The key difference? That other business isn’t hiding fees. The “out the door” price that they offered was over $4,000 higher than another dealership offering the same car, with only a 5,000-mile difference. It’s not just the outrageous fees—the communication is also unprofessional. Calls and texts go unreturned. Despite salespeople ignoring follow-ups, the receptionist will reach out to see if you have questions and promise to have someone call you back, but no one ever does. Getting a call back from a salesperson can take 3-4 weeks, during which the price fluctuates, but it’s never worth the hassle or cost.
