I had already talked to a bank prior to coming in about a vehicle I liked. The bank and I had an agreement on a loan amount and speculation of the agreement. Once in the dealership I told the sales manager S vehicle I liked. The bank and I had an agreement on a loan amount and speculation of the agreement. Once in the dealership I told the sales manager Sam that but he continued to pressure me to have him contact a bank for the financing. Reluctantly I agreed during Sam's questions I told him again I would rather just wait and go through my own bank again, he pretty much just ignored what I said and continued with the loan application. I told Sam a couple of times during the whole process that the banker/loan manager I had talked to said I just needed a purchase agreement and she would handle the financing due to needing to add my wife to the loan and my previous loan. Sam repeatedly told me she didn't know what she was talking about and that would just make things more complicated. Sam submitted the loan application through my original bank anyway and got the approval for my vehicle. I already frustrated at this point should have just left but I finished the purchase, once in the office Sam had added the mechanical warranty and GAP insurance on to the loan amount without ever asking me. I told the finance guy just to forget about it and I would cancel it at a later date. Several days later now after the purchase, my bank calls me and ask me to come in. Turns out Sam didn't know what he was doing and he should have listened to me about just waiting. Since I had an prior agreement with the actual bank they financed through he messed something up and the bank had to rewrite the loan. Thankfully this time since going through the actual bank I didn't have anyone sneaking extra price gouges that I didn't ask for and got to choose if I wanted any extra coverages. To end off I really like my vehicle I purchased that's the only reason I went through this much of a hassle but I'll never return as a customer with the way I was treated. More
