I am not giving 5 stars to Weston Volvo due to the rude attitude and lack of customer service of the sales manager Guillermo Alarcon and the financial manager Thais. The 5 stars goes to the Frank Martinez, sales consultant, who excelled in customer service, attitude, and honesty. He was a real sales consultant with focus on our needs giving us honest and transparent alternatives to get a Volvo car. I choose the car subscription (Care by Volvo) for the S60 B5 according to what is stated on volvocars.com where the Flexible Subscription Term it says, “You can cancel your subscription any time after the 5 months have expired in the lease term without incurring any early termination charge”. To this statement, Frank confirmed we could cancel the contract at any time after the 5th month with no penalties or additional payments of any kind. At signing moment when the Financial Manager, Thais brought us the paperwork, I realized there was clause with a disposition fee of $300 after the 5th month. Clearly there is an inconsistency between the website and the contract. I rejected this clause and asked to honor the promise of “no early termination charge”. The financial manager, Thais, stated those were the conditions and left the negotiation in a discourteous manner. After this incident, the sales manager, Guillermo Alarcon, came with a rude attitude, confirming the that was the condition for signing and said it was the sales consultant’s mistake and if we did not accept the disposition fee, the negotiation was over. I told the manager that Volvo should keep the promise, but his respond was offensive and said that he does not represent Volvo only Weston Volvo and insisted that I had to accept it if I wanted the car. In an act that demonstrated Frank's passion for his client and honesty, he offered to pay for the disposition fee out of his own pocket right away. Finally, I signed the contract, but I submitted my complaint to Volvo headquarters, as I believe this should be taken out of my contract.
