Had to push hard to get a trade in that came close to Kelly blue book. Also the closing process was easy however (and stupid on our part) everything was digital and we were handed a flash drive with our Kelly blue book. I thought the overall experience was excellent and really enjoyed working with Gary Barber. my only criticism is that the dealer's disclosure statement said that since I was paying cash, they would not do a enjoyed working with Gary Barber. my only criticism is that the dealer's disclosure statement said that since I was paying cash, they would not do a hard credit check, but only an inquiry (which would not impact my credit rating). Because I was paying with a personal check, they went ahead and did a hard credit check, which did impact my credit...it dropped it to a low excellent instead of a solid excellent. I believe that since I signed the disclosure saying they would not do a hard credit check, they should have asked for my permission in advance of going ahead and doing the hard credit check. It should have been my decision. They were legally bound to abide by the disclosure that I signed, and not violate the agreement without first getting my waiver to the agreement. More
