First New Car Purchase in a While Due to the fact that I had purchased a new vehicle in a while, I was not looking forward to the hassle however satisfying the result. This time it was for a "fun" car, the BRZ, and there was no hassle involved. Transaction was smooth throughout and dealership stayed on stated schedule for delivery. Couldn't ask for more I bought a brand new Subaru Forester and had a factory auto-start put in. I didn't know before the purchase that everytime I used it - it automaticall I bought a brand new Subaru Forester and had a factory auto-start put in. I didn't know before the purchase that everytime I used it - it automatically locks the doors - and opened the door it would shut off the car. Also, rather than have one key, I would have a key and a big fob too. I went to service to ask what we could do to change it. I was talking to one of the service guys. After telling the story, I said I was very unhappy. The boss, Gregg Catandella, came out of his office to where we were talking and said he heard me say I was not happy and he wanted to know why and what about. I explained it to him and he immediately offered to have the factory auto-start removed and an after-market one installed that would do everything I wanted - only restart if I stepped on the brakes, and only the one key. He said it would all be done without any expense to me and gave me a courtesy car the day they did the work. I have never, ever, had an experience like this. I never had to raise my voice. I never had to settle. I never had to be unhappy. I had to pinch myself to make sure I was awake! More
