Gary was terrible Told us the car could be ready tomorrow but we couldn’t come until 5 days later Calls us an hour before and says the car isn’t ready Then when everything is said and done he says tomorrow but we couldn’t come until 5 days later Calls us an hour before and says the car isn’t ready Then when everything is said and done he says it’ll be 15 minutes and end up waiting 4 hours. I have been shopping for a new Kona EV. I have been to three dealerships and this was by far the worst experience. On a phone call the day prior I was told that Atlantic Hyundai has a “pric I have been to three dealerships and this was by far the worst experience. On a phone call the day prior I was told that Atlantic Hyundai has a “price match” and that they are #1 and can beat any deal. So, I arrived with my best offer in hand from one of the two dealers I have been to previously. I sat down with Gary first who aggressively did his speech about how Atlantic Hyundai is the best and that I need to buy a car today. I tried explaining to him that I was just weighing my options and plan to buy one soon but not this day. He wasn’t having it. He picked up my offer and walked to one of his associates offices. He didn’t realize but I could see him in the reflection of the glass door impersonating and mocking me. Of course he denied it although it was obvious. After that his sales manager Lekwa came over to discuss the deal with me. When he came he actually didn’t know what kind of car I wanted or which car I would be trading in. Not only could they not beat the offer I had, it was 2,000$ higher and 1,500$ higher than what was listed on their website. They also use awkward compliments to try to flatter people into a deal. I can’t believe how poorly this experience went at Atlantic Hyundai. More

Worse customer service ever along with the worse deals. The manager an African American man was extremely rude and unprofessional he almost tried to physically push me over a deal. I am very pleased with my experience at Atlantic Hyundai. I worked with Gary C. and Rich L. Went to purchase a new Palisade SUV with MSRP sticker price of $43k. After finally finding the vehicle I wanted online at both Hyundai and Atlantic's own website for the sticker price, they tell me at th price of $43k. After finally finding the vehicle I wanted online at both Hyundai and Atlantic's own website for the sticker price, they tell me at the dealership that since I wanted the car they now want to charge "market value" which is over $46k!!! What? So they are fine to advertise the MSRP on their website but if you are interested in a vehicle, they randomly hike the price up?? Who exactly is determining market value here? Atlantic?? There are plenty of Palisades available and I can order one at MSRP with the options I want, but because Atlantic already had the one I wanted on their lot, they were trying to scam me for an additional $3k!! I left their dealership and bought my $43k truck from Huntington Hyundai, who literally shook their heads at my story saying it was no surprise to them. I am annoyed I wasted 3 hours of my life with these thieves and insulted at the fact they thought I was dumb enough as a single female to be fine with it. Well, they lost a nice big sale and I've learned to warn as many people as I can about their dealership. More
