Gary Smedstad has been with Niello Acura since 2007, and has been working around Honda and Acura since 1990. The first 15 years of this time was spent as a Technician, but Gary decided he liked working with the customers more than with the cars. I have been a Niello Acura customer since 2004. I have always received superb service from every single person I have ever interacted with. At the top of that list is Gary Smedstad. A true profes I have always received superb service from every single person I have ever interacted with. At the top of that list is Gary Smedstad. A true professional by every measure, he is a joy to work with and I TRUST him to do the right thing for me. Most recently he took care of a significant maintenance issue for me and went above and beyond what was expected. His example and work ethic set him apart and he is someone I rely on to keep my vehicle operating well. If I was going to start my own service department to compete against Niello—which I am not—he would be the first person I would attempt to recruit. Obviously the culture at Niello Acura is one that attracts folks like Gary. The leadership at Niello Acura has built an incredibly wonderful team of standout people who work together seamlessly. Very well done!!! More

My car has rich condition with p0172 and p0175. They refused to move further with any other suggestion. Very disappointed. Had to bring my car back and now dont know where to go. More

Set up an appointment online, everything looked good and on the day I setup, I find out their website isn’t working properly. The reason I set up on line was to get a loaner car as it is a good distance awa on the day I setup, I find out their website isn’t working properly. The reason I set up on line was to get a loaner car as it is a good distance away and I have a busy schedule. Since their website doesn’t work correctly I don’t have a set appointment and also they have change policies that prevent loaner cars for basic service. I’ve always used these loaners for test drives of the newer cars and different models. When I showed my displeasure, his solution was to take away the car wash to save some time, like running it through the automatic car wash was the time suck. I will now be looking at different names and models of cars that allow loaner vehicles. If they had given me the loaner, like I thought I had, I wouldn’t of had the time to do these poor reviews. Vehicle Servicing - Poor Recommendations and Poor Value Upon multiple visits to Niello Acura dealership in Roseville, I have had instances where I was either mislead about service/cost, condition of my vehi Upon multiple visits to Niello Acura dealership in Roseville, I have had instances where I was either mislead about service/cost, condition of my vehicle's components (I have later verified condition of those components with other shops and another dealer - their findings differed greatly from Niello's notes / recommendations) and paid extra for service that was unsatisfactory (upon bringing it up with the rep, he told me that whatever they did was normal... not exactly what you want to hear from Acura... some of these issues had to be corrected at other shops for additional money). Also, received estimates turned out to be lower than the actual costs - it would also be reasonable to include tax especially if cost is over $1K... I'm not asking for a partial cost after all. Now, whenever I need service, I opt to go extra 30 miles to another dealer, since I have 0 trust in what these guys do and I do not want to be upsold on things or pay extra for parts that do not need replacement. Total Luxury Cars and Excellent Customer Service My new 2017 RDX is total Luxury and Safety. Love all the new technology and only by Acura. Niello Acura loyal customer for over 10 years! I have had Acuras now for over 23 years. I think I will never buy another type of car! Niello Acura is the best dealership I have ever been to- both I have had Acuras now for over 23 years. I think I will never buy another type of car! Niello Acura is the best dealership I have ever been to- both sales and service. Chris Knutson in sales is fantastic- even fun, to work with- don't want his head to get too big - I notice most everyone has a great experience with him. Gary Smedsted in service is very conscientious and wants to make sure things are done right for you, the customer. I leased an RDX, and has some minor issues with the upholstery- which was handled professionally and everything possible was done to fix it. The car is great! I still miss my old 2005 MDX which was my lifetime best car. Unfortunately I traded it in for a Prius last year, with a terrible experience at Roseville Toyota- the car was awful, and so I quickly went back to Niello Acura and got another RDX and am happy again. Not as good of mpg as a Prius, but a million times better car. More
