Ford of Galesburg

Originally, we were actually looking at XLT version Ford F150's. We had many dealers in our area but wasn't able to make a deal. They didn't seem to care about the sale. We expand our search and Galesburg Ford was on the list. We saw a Ford F150 Lariat blacked out on the site. As stated earlier we was looking for XLTs. We call Galesburg sales department, and Scott Carlson answered the call. First impressions are the most important for us. Scott, spoke with an energetic and enlighten tone. I stated where we were callings from and wanted to more about the Ford F150 Lariat. He didn't jump right into a sales pitch but asked how the weather was in our area. He also was kind enough to ask if we were affected by the recent tornado that came through our area. His inquiry wasn't a ploy to a sales invite but a real concern. Then he asks calmly what questions we had. After all our questions were answered, we felt we had to have a road trip and meet Scott and see the truck in person. When we arrived, Scott approaches us well-dressed and was smiling. He asked about our trip there. The Ford F150 Lariat was sitting there in front of us. It was more of a vision in person than online. I said let's talk. We all sat down and Scott explained what he could do for us on the Lariat. His knowledge and diplomacy actually made the sale. Scott is totally transparent. No angles or extended sales pitch. We put a deposit down to hold the Lariat till the end of the week. We were honest with Scott, explaining we were going to stop and look at another truck on the way back home as promised. Scott didn't try pressuring us on the purchase. We had pretty much made up our minds while driving to the other Ford F150 Lariat. We contacted Scott and told him we wanted the Lariat. From there out Scott made the purchase smooth and professional. We originally were going to drive back to pick up the Lariat. It was a long trip the first time, so we asked to have it delivered. Scott made the arrangements. When the Lariat was delivered to our residence, I met Bruce and Larry. They were very professional and a privilege to meet. We highly recommend Scott Carlson as your go to sales agent. I was skeptical to say the least about going to Galesburg Ford. I had found Scott's posting online and really wanted to look at this Buick Envision so I took the chance and I am sooo Glad I did.. He was so easy to talk to as soon as I met him..he was very adament that he make sure he told me every detail he wanted to behonest and have no surprises. I told him the payment I would be comfortable with and he told me he would do everything he could to get it there and he did. He was serious when he needed to be and a jokester when he could.I just meant him yesterday and feel like I've known him for years. I am so Happy with my trade. I personally met the GM, The Finance Guy, a couple other Dealers and the Accountant and They were all so pleasant and Genuine. They gave me top dollar for my car, stayed late to accommodate me and everyone went out of there way to make this my Best Experience and it was!!! I was going on past experiences and this is a whole new crew, if you haven't been here you just dont know what your missing. These Guys are Totally Awesome!! Another fantastic experience with the staff of Ford of Galesburg. My Bronco sport developed a small coolant leak. Took it in for a 1:30pm appt and left at 3:30 with a new water pump installed and the prob Galesburg. My Bronco sport developed a small coolant leak.
