A pleasant New Car buying experience For the past several months my wife and I were looking for a SUV that was an AWD and could tow 5,000 lbs (for a future boat), looked nice, and had a d For the past several months my wife and I were looking for a SUV that was an AWD and could tow 5,000 lbs (for a future boat), looked nice, and had a decent warranty. The Hyundai 2017 Santa Fe SE Ultimate (AWD w Ultimate Tech Pkg for HID headlights) fit the bill. The local dealership said AWDs did not exists in Florida for what we wanted and we would have to settle for what was on the lot- many FWDs to choose from. On the internet I came across Hyundai of St. Augustine. Their dealership was a marked positive difference from my earlier experience with other dealers. They said if what I wanted wasn't on the lot, they would find the vehicle and deliver it to my door- whether from Georgia or anywhere in Florida. George Aflleje, our sales consultant from Hyundai of St. Augustine, worked with us over the months to ensure our complete satisfaction and sent a quote for an AWD Santa Fe. We once again visited the local dealership and was offered a vehicle that could be delivered from Kentucky with a quote stating no AWDs existed in Florida. I showed the email from St. Augustine and mentioned another Hyundai dealership in west Florida that offered what we were looking for. George followed through with the exact SUV we wanted and had the vehicle delivered the next evening to our door. The car exceeded our expectations with a price that could not be beat! As a bonus, George took the time to fully explain all the electronic whizzbang features and followed up ensuring a class 3/4 hitch was installed as well. George left us his cell number should we ever have any questions. What a wonderful staff Hyundai of St. Augustine has and how pleasant it is to know there is a dealership where customers come first!
