I brought my car in for the annual inspection but after inspection, it needed other work. The service department (via Jen) was able to get all the work done before I left for the afternoon at a reasonable price. I requested a quote for a Crosstrek XT Premium from several area dealers. Beard's price was the lowest. Initially they did not offer me a very good price for my trade-in, a 2005 Outback, but after a little haggling, their offer came up to an acceptable level. If the invoice price given on the Edmunds site is correct, I got my Crosstrek for slightly under the invoice price, considering the options I chose. I've had the car a month and love it. I kayak and the crossbars were a little too close together for me to get the kayak tied down really securely. I called Beard yesterday and asked if I could stop in today to have them move the cross-bars and they said yes. I was out of there in about 10 minutes. I'm a very happy camper. More
