Scheduled service to fix my front air xxxx that wouldn’t raise along with a radiator deflector. Brought my newer F-150 in for a problem with remotes not working and tire pressure monitor failure. First take: the remotes were not on the correct frequency and the tire pressure sensors were defective. T working and tire pressure monitor failure. First take: the remotes were not on the correct frequency and the tire pressure sensors were defective. Therefore , needed new remotes and tire pressure sensor replacement. After more digging, determined it was all due to a wiring failure. Wires in the drivers threshold were either cut and/or shorted. Result: did not need new remotes or tire pressure sensors but, a bit too late because I wound up with new remotes (now have four: 2 new and 2 original and they all work!). The good news is everything works and the shop time to repair the wiring was paid under warranty. The bad news, bought two new remotes I didn't need ... and they are not cheap! More
