I purchased a vehicle from COAutoFinders on 9/1/23. The 2nd time (9/5) I drove this vehicle the check engine light came on so I contacted George the GM of COAF, he agreed to have the vehicle repaired. The 2nd time (9/5) I drove this vehicle the check engine light came on so I contacted George the GM of COAF, he agreed to have the vehicle repaired. The vehicle was towed back to COAF on 9/6. On 9/7 I called COAF to inquire about the status of my vehicle, it was then that I learned the vehicle was sold by consignment and that the vehicle had been towed to the actual seller. This was news to me as I had never been told that during the buying process. The actual seller was the owner of the LAB auto shop in Englewood. I then had to work with that man regarding the repair of my vehicle. The initial problem was reported to me as a vacuum leak that caused a coil to fail. I did not get the vehicle back until 9/16...however on the drive home the check engine light appeared again. When I checked the codes on the vehicle they were the same as what appeared on 9/5. On 9/16 I spoke with the LAB and provided them with the error codes. On 9/18 the vehicle was towed back to the LAB for repair. I provided them with my warranty info (as a side note do not buy the Veritas warranty, read reviews on it, it's atrocious). I instructed the LAB to make a warranty claim on my behalf as it's required by Veritas to report issues. The LAB did not notify Veritas and appears to have done the repairs on their own dime. When I finally rec'd the vehicle back on 9/23 the LAB asked me to have my wife remove her review of COAF as they were charging the LAB roughly 900$ for the negative review of their business, we did. After getting the vehicle back I rarely drove it as this experience left a very bad taste in my mouth, it never felt right. During all of this mess COAF never once apologized or offered any condolences to the sorry state of this vehicle. Side note; if you read through the other negative reviews of COAF you will see one from Jordan, he purchased the vehicle several months prior to me and also had major issues with the vehicle. He later sold the vehicle back to COAF at a significant loss and they sold it to me a few months later. That LR in his review is the same vehicle in question. On 12/7/23 I took the LR on it's longest trip since owning it, Arvada to Littleton. During that trip the vehicle began shaking violently and the check engine light appeared. I contacted the LAB immediately and let them know of the problem. I provided them with the error codes I was seeing and dropped it off at their shop later that afternoon. I provided them my warranty info again and a claim was submitted on 12/14. That claim was denied by Veritas, they claimed I drove the vehicle over 400 miles with the check engine light on, this did not happen. They refused to provide me with any documentation regarding this. Who in their right mind would buy a used LR and warranty and then not take it to the shop? A second claim was later entered on 3/14/24 and it was denied for the same reason. The LR needed an entire engine replacement and the cost was roughly 20k. At no point has anyone ever apologized for the problems I've faced as a result of buying the vehicle. I made one last attempt at resolving the problems in 1/25 and the response I got from COAF was nothing but lies, they made up that I drove the vehicle over 5k miles but the odometer readings say otherwise. It was driven a total of 862 miles, some of which were by the mechanic at the lab. Buying a vehicle from COAF was the worst decision I've ever made More

My husband and I purchased a Porsche Cayenne S from Colorado Auto Finders in October. As part of the purchase, there was a written agreement in the contract that they would replace the tires. Colorado Colorado Auto Finders in October. As part of the purchase, there was a written agreement in the contract that they would replace the tires. Colorado Auto Finders kept the vehicle for approximately two weeks to perform this work. When we received the vehicle back, serious mechanical issues and damage were immediately noticed. The vehicle had been driven only a minimal number of miles before the problem was discovered. We took the vehicle to a professional shop (Platinum Motorsports), where we were informed that the damage is consistent with improper wheel installation and/or lug nuts not being properly torqued. This is a serious safety issue that could have resulted in wheel failure or an accident. From that point forward, we repeatedly attempted to contact management. We were continually put off, told the manager was unavailable or on an extended vacation, and given no meaningful updates. I also sent a formal email to management and other staff requesting a response, and no response was ever provided. The business has refused to take responsibility and is now ignoring and blocking our calls. I have been without a safe, usable vehicle for nearly two months. Colorado Auto Finders’ conduct involves unsafe repair practices, failure to stand behind their work, and deceptive and evasive behavior toward a consumer. I believe this warrants investigation by the Auto Industry Division for violations of dealer responsibilities and consumer protection requirements. More
