type of service received I went to this deal ship Not for their service, but because they had the vehicle I was looking to purchase for my daughter. The sales person Jimi Mo I went to this deal ship Not for their service, but because they had the vehicle I was looking to purchase for my daughter. The sales person Jimi Moore, was very nice and dealt with us in a professional manner. However the vehicle had some deep stretches on the hood, in which I point out to Mr. Moore at which time he address the matter to the used car sales man Ghani Niazi. This is when my disappointment came in when he came into the picture. He try to blew me off about the stretches saying that his guy did everything, knowing very well everything was not done. He eventually took some money (300.00) off not enough to get it remove professionally since it cost 500.00 then I notice once I got home there was even deeper ones on the roof of the car. Again spoke to Mr Niazi. It was a waste of time. Please reconsider doing any business with this dealership when Mr Niazi is involved. The vehicle was not detailed, just ran through the car wash and there was no mats in the vehicle. Never will I deal with that dealership due to Mr Niazi. Knowing I was planning to purchase another vehicle in which Mr Moore and I discussed. If I had read the reviews before doing business with dealership I would have never have done business with them. Think twice people don't deal with Mr Niazi, he will make you regret doing business with this dealership. More

once the sale is complete customer service disappears My sales rep Teddy was very good. He listened to what I was looking for and delivered the service that I expected. Do not trust Mr. Niazi. I came back three times on three seperate occasions to talk to him about the problem that I told my sales rep. about the next day and was basically accused of causing the problem. His words " How do I know you didn't do it when you left?" I had only put 100 miles on the car. After a few exchanges and him trying to get me to pay for half of the repair costs he agreed to take care of it (wheel bearing). After two months and the sound still there I returned to find out that the other wheel bearing was shot. This was a certified pre-owned car and in less than 3,000 miles both rear wheel bearings had to be replaced. The service dept said it was worst than the first one and it should have been discovered and replaced during the first issue. I went back to Mr. Niazi and was told that "he didn't have to do anything the first time for me (even though I called my rep the next morning) and the first one was done as a "courtesy", and since the service dept said that it was a continuation of the original problem that THEY could pay for it because he wasn't. Once again this was after comming to speak with him three times again on three seperate occasions. So I spent $600 to fix a problem that should have been caught during the "certification" process before it hit the lot and or at the first repair, and I still have a noise. It seems that all he cares about is the fact that they made the sale and if you have a problem then it's YOUR problem not theirs. If you are thinking of buying a car from this man PLEEASSE have it inspected by a independent mechanic and DON'T TRUST there " certified" label and certainly DON'T TRUST Mr Niazi. I have 20 years of sales and customer service experience and I have dealt with and worked with some "sleazy salesmen"in my time.I would definitely put him in that category so beware. The service Department is excellent though. They do treat you like family and they are honest and fair. More

False Promises Hello, I would like to start by saying; I absolutely love my new 2014 Nissan Sentra SL. I purchased my vehicle during the Memorial Day weekend of thi Hello, I would like to start by saying; I absolutely love my new 2014 Nissan Sentra SL. I purchased my vehicle during the Memorial Day weekend of this year (5/28/2014) from Cowles Nissan of Woodbridge, VA. The sales consultant was Mr. Brian Johnson. He was professional, friendly, and straightforward and remained true to his words, which I appreciated very much. Mr. Johnson explained everything that i was to receive with the purchase, “Verbally”. He said boastfully, that buying from this dealership has its advantages, because many benefits already come standard, like lifetime oil change and lifetime state inspection. Brian even took the liberty and scheduled the initial oil change with the service department on behalf of me. I was very impressed. In a nutshell, my overall car buying experience from Cowles Nissan was very smooth, very pleasant. The vehicle i eventually ended up purchasing was originally not found in any nearby dealer’s inventory. It had to be brought over(driven) to VA from a NY dealership. Couple of OEM parts and accessories were not installed (i.e. Rear Spoiler, Illuminated Kick Plates, Pinstripes & Wheel locks) which had to be ordered from the manufacturer to complete the order. I had to take the vehicle back to the dealership multiple times to get those installed at different dates. Because of this inconvenience to me, Tony Johnson, one of the Managers at Cowles Nissan, promised couple of free fill-ups (free gas) for my vehicle, but again “Verbally”. The offer I am yet to utilize. Today (12/9/2014), approximately six months later, I went to the dealership for that initial oil change and to schedule my next free oil change. This is when my pleasant relationship with dealer took a 180-degree turn. When I requested Mr. Ghani Niazi, another Manager, at Cowles Nissan, to schedule my next free oil change, I was given a blank and surprised look followed by “What are you talking about? There is no such thing as free lifetime oil change or state inspection”. I asked that Mr. Brian Johnson come in and ratify my claim. I was told by Mr. Niazi that Brian does not work at this dealership any longer. Mr. Niazi then proceeded to explain, as if I do not fully comprehend “English”, that all his sales consultants are very knowledgeable and they would never make any such statement about free lifetime anything. Mr. Dan Wernitznig, General Manager, was also present at the scene and seconded Mr. Niazi’s statement. Mr. Wernitznig then took over and explained, “Often times “customers” come in and make false claims, but he is not saying that I am lying. Besides, I did not have any “written” proof that Brian indeed made that statement about free oil change and state inspection. His dealership policy clearly dictates that. As such, he cannot do anything even if he wanted to. I must have misunderstood”. Sure, Mr. Wernitznig, is not saying that, just implying that I am (lying). The dealership policy, as explained by Mr. Wernitznig and Mr. Niazi, that only the first 2 oil changes are free and the state inspection. None of which are posted anywhere, I should mention. Bottom-line: (with some crude sarcasm) • I am naive; I will be the first person to admit that. I am a fool that I believed the “Verbal” empty promises by a reputable dealership, their Managers and their sales consultant. • I am a Software Consultant for the DoD, well to do, can afford the brand new customized vehicle but went back to the same dealership because I cannot afford the oil changes and state inspections. • I am ignorant because I do not know when someone is calling me (their customer who bought a vehicle from their dealership not too long ago), a liar to my face (implied) • A GM of a dealership cannot make any exceptions or at least try to accommodate their “paying” customer. • I still believe in principals and ethics, and expect others to do the same. I visited this dealership with the intent of purchasing a dependable used car. I had heard from my Pastor that Cowles sold him a vehicle a few years back and he was treated very well by the dealership. W dependable used car. I had heard from my Pastor that Cowles sold him a vehicle a few years back and he was treated very well by the dealership. Well, I don't know how long ago that was, but they have obviously gone downhill since then. I had been corresponding via email with a salesman for approximately a week or so to schedule a test drive. All went well, until I returned to the dealership to negotiate the said price. These guys really play some games. First of all, the sticker price was $2000 more than the price listed on the company website and $3000 more than what is listed on Cars.com; OK....fair enough, they want to play games....so can I.....I countered them well below the Cars.com price, which I expected them to reject..no surprise there, after all this is a used car negotiation, not a bidding war on a house. Anyway, after sometime the salesman comes back with the manger (who I suspect was not really a manager) and offers to sell me the car for $300 more than the Cars.com and inflated the "sales/processing fee" by at least $100...I said no and countered at the Cars.com price for full delivery (tax, title and bogus fees included in my price).....They came back and said no...... There was only a $600 difference between our offers and they would not budge....I have never encountered anything so absurd........ I have bought many used cars and had dealers agree to close sales for more than $1000 of what they said was their bottom line and these guys would not even come down $600 to close the deal....really, that's just pathetic.....especially since there are visible scratches on the vehicle and it has been in an accident. Their rationale was that the vehicle had only been on the lot for 10 days and they know they could get more....oh really ?, is that so ? then why is the vehicle still sitting there; moreover, why are there never more than 2 or 3 people on the lot when I visit the dealership....doesn't appear to a high volume of sales to me. Obviously these guys either think that they are Carmax (no haggling) or just hope that some desperate person with poor credit will come along and overpay for a vehicle. These guys are very poor negotiators and not motivated to move inventory....I will be heading back to Ourisman were they know how to close a deal.......Now I see why Cowles has a such a poor rating on this website for used car sales.....what a sad case. The next day i took the car to their service department and one hour later, the car was out without fixing anything. The mechanic claimed that he fixed it, but when i asked for paperwork he said that he checked the problem and the car appeared to be within standard. I don't what standard was that? Their used car manager was the biggest looser of all, when i talked to him to see what he can do, he said to me that i shoulf off bought the 2500 dollars B.S warrarnty that they sell. The salesman and his name was keith called and promiss me to call me back with a solutions . He did not and i called 3 days later. He offered me a good deal: to fix the car on own expenses at the dealer service dept. my last resort was the GM Dan Wernitznig and he was the biggest looser and crook of all. He said that i bought a used car and should expect problems. A car that cost 8500 dollars. Just stay away from them. More
