This service experience was the absolute worst ever. There was a recall for our 2019 Ford fusion to replace the plug-in hybrid battery. We made an appointment three weeks before the service appointment. There was a recall for our 2019 Ford fusion to replace the plug-in hybrid battery. We made an appointment three weeks before the service appointment. When we dropped off the car we were not given a completion time. When I called asking when the car would be ready, we were told that it would take 2 weeks to get the battery. I asked for my car back while we waited for the battery to come in, but we're told that they couldn't release the car due to safety concerns. I asked for a loaner vehicle and was told that the recall only allowed 1 day's loaner car: we were already without our car for 2 weeks. They offered to purchase the car back from us for "fair market value" which would not include the $6700 flat towing package I installed so I could tow the car behind my RV. I declined and they said that Ford had not "released the battery" to the dealership. I told them I was leaving the car there until the performed the recall work. After 18 days in the shop, they told me that Ford had released the battery and in would be there in a week. We informed them that we needed a loaner car for a trip to Palm Springs and they agreed to pay for a rental for our trip. On the way home from Palm Springs we texted our service advisor and asked if we could pick up our car and he said sure, we close at 5:30. We arrived at the dealership at 4:30, and the service department was closed and nobody could help us get our car. They called the next day and said we could pick up our car after a total of 30 days without it. My wife tried to start the car, but the 12V starting battery was completely dead. I told them that when a starting battery is completely discharged, it permanently damages the battery and I wanted it replaced. They only offered to charge it up and told us it would be ready in a few hours. We picked up the car the and drove for one day. The next morning we received a call from the dealership asking us to bring it back because they forgot to write down a number from the car's internal memory so they could get reimbursed for the labor. We brought the car back to the dealership and this time they offered to give us a loaner vehicle while they retrived the number they needed. We drove the loaner for two day and finally got our car back. This 35 day ordeal has soured me on doing business with this dealership and from ever buying a Ford product again. There are more details that I've left out for brevity. More

Service Department is terrible. No customer communication, no follow up, message unanswered. Can't find my service advisor even if I show up in person. They screw up documentation during service and then demand the customer return at an inconvenient time. Grant Lee is rude to customers. More
