I don’t know if the splash guard is removed during an oil change service, but the splash guard fell off the car the day after the service. Grant got a person to drive out to where I was and remove the guard change service, but the splash guard fell off the car the day after the service. Grant got a person to drive out to where I was and remove the guard so I could drive the vehicle; and on Thursday it was reinstalled. Even if not removed as part of the service, it’s hard to believe it did show signs of being loose or that it wouldn’t be tightened as part of general maintenance. Then there were the lug nuts. Ford lug nuts are notoriously bad. Mechanic said nuts were swollen and could not rotate tires. No reduction in price. Oh yea, Carlos was the young man who drove the maintenance van out to get me up and running. He was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful. I did not deal with anyone other than Grant and Carlos. Lastly, I don’t believe the law allows you to apply a “service charge” to the bill if you pay by credit card. Check with your legal dept. More
