It took 6 weeks to get my car repaired!
Chrysler warranty failed to repair the engine correctly. They only replaced the damaged parts, they did NOT CORRECT the problem that caused the damag
Chrysler warranty failed to repair the engine correctly. They only replaced the damaged parts, they did NOT CORRECT the problem that caused the damage ( the oil control valves on the MDS system, damage to the bearings and other engine components due to metal shavings in the oil). The engine should have been replaced. Chrysler has been replacing the engines when the MDS cam & lifters fail. This failure is caused by poor design of the oiling system in the gen 3 engines. I feel my engine should have been replaced also. Mike Doht tried to get a new engine, but was rejected by Chrysler warranty. I also believe the damaged parts BELONG to me, not Chrysler. I will be Joining the Class Action Law Suit against Chrysler! My complaint against the dealership is the long waiting time; the car was returned dirty; and the dealership offered no help with assisting with our loss of a vehicle. We had to rent a car and get bus transportation for Six weeks
